8-17-07 I've forgotten a lot of details in last nights dream, but here's what I can recall: I'm outdoors and sitting on concrete steps that lead down to a beach. It appears overcast. I'm waiting for more information about the terrorism attacks from Sep. 11, 2001. I can't remember if I was a reporter or doing research on my own, but I sense that I got information that was incomplete (this is our reality here in the U.S.) and had documents that were one half of what I was waiting for. Then the next scene I remember is I'm in an upstairs apartment and someone tells me to "follow that woman." I look out the window and see a woman with dark hair and wearing a knee-length gown stepping out of a doorway down below. I follow her, and it's like I'm flying or soaring through the air out the window and down to the ground, and we end up on a side walk of a busy city street. She is now wearing a bridal veil and has a frosted wedding cake sitting on a plate on what may be a hydrant. She sweeps half the frosting away from the cake to reveal a big slice taken out of it. Then she takes a chuck of the vanilla cake in her hand and announces that it's poisoned. end
There seems to be a similarity between the incomplete documents and the wedding cake with parts missing when you look inside. I guess cakes, and wedding cakes in particular, are supposed to be a nice thing - so perhaps your dream represents some niceness that is missing?
That's an interesting take on it. What you said about something good missing doesn't really resonate. Sure, there are some things missing in my life, but I don't' sense this is what the dream is about. I think the dream is many "layered" like the cake. I do wish that I had inside knowledge and that type of knowledge where a person knows things hidden. It's late and I'm a bit tired so I can't think of it now. The dream is very metaphoric. The first part not so much. I've been doing some reading and video watching about discrepancies in the official story about the terrorists attacks and I find it frustrating that there was a big cover-up about what happened leading up to them. Now, about the woman and the cake. Let's try this: Someone swipes away a surface covering to reveal a piece cut out or missing and what remains can hurt you if you take it in. Damn, it could mean I'm a bitch! I'll have to examine this more.
