I had this dream last night, where I was going to this really run-down boarding school.

I was walking through the halls with one of my friends (not a friend in real life, in fact I don't even know who this was) and all of a sudden her cellphone started ringing, so of course she answered it.

Then she got this really scared look on her face, shut the phone and said "he's coming for you" then I remember just leaving her behind and taking off. Then I found out who "he" was.

He was this old dude, about middle fifties, he had grey hair and it was short and spiky. And he was kinda chubby. If it's any significance, he was wearing a white shirt and jeans. Then he tried grabbing me but I pushed him away and started running again.

Then I got to this room and I ran in it and they must have been my friends because I remember the concern on their face as they asked what was wrong.

Then I told them there was a creepy guy coming after me and to guard the doors.

So they stopped playing their music (I remember they were my band members, and I was the singer) and barricaded themselves against the door.
We shut and locked the windows, we closed the big wood doors and leaned against them.

There was also this window that had no glass or screen and had just a flap over the window so you only couldn't really see in, so I remember someone barricaded themself in front of that, too.

Then the old guy came around and was trying to get in, and I remember breathing heavily and almost crying because I was so scared.
After he passed the room, we all crawled through this secret tunnel that lead to the outside because the other members were saying they knew someone that could help me.

So once we were outside we all started running (I was in the middle, they were like protecting me)
and then we came up to the house my grandma and grandpa used to live in (It was very run down after they left, and also was always haunted (the house was so old)) And so we went to the door and just opened it and stepped inside. It wasn't run down inside at all however. It was just as I remember it when my grandparents used to live there.

But the people that lived there now were native americans. And so I sat in one of the chairs and I remember we were asking for help and everything, and the chief of the tribe asked me who I was.

So I stated my name. And he said "Oh really? You're a ________? I know your Dad...." and he seemed very impressed by it. Then he called his son out and introduced him to me, like he was expecting something.

After that part, I woke up because I was falling off my bed.

    help please?
This dream is really confusing me.

    Scary!

There's a lot of archetypes here---the shadowy figure (old creepy guy chasing you), the wise Native, and the protectors.

Being chased is a common dream theme. You may really have a fear of being attacked or being overpowered by someone. Chances are you are really running away from a part of yourself that you are too afraid to face. If you had to put a human trait on your pursuer, what would it be?

One thing you could try next time you have such a dream is not to run away but confront it, ask it what it wants.

I also get the feeling from the dream that you are surrounded by people who care about your well-being. And that's a great thing!

    Hmmmm
    In my dreams....
I can never control them. I feel like...idk...sometimes I feel like they've already taken place and I'm just reliving them?

The old man...He was just a creepy guy. I think he was a bit of a pervert actually. lol

But yes, it was people that cared about my well-being (I could sense it in the dream since I know none of them in reality)
