In the dream I was at my cousin's house like I usually am and people were there, no big deal but then I go stand by the door and everyone is going outside to go smoke marijuana. Except for one lady I know and decides to smoke inside. I watch her smoke knowing I wanted some but earlier in the dream I get in a small dispute with my cousin that I can't recall. I was standing by the door to my cousins room by the way. I eventually go take the marijuana she had, craving an inhale like usual but the joint was finishing. When I grabbed with my fingers I grabbed the glowing ember and my fingers got burnt. I walk back to my cousin's room and she kind of tries to close the door on me. I don't know if it was on accident or intentionally. I look at my fingers and my fingers look like they've been branded.

What does it mean?

Oh and when I got burnt I told the lady jokingly in spanish "I just came over here to get burnt."

Marijuana has positive and negative connotations. It's associated with relaxing, getting away from your troubles, has some medical benefits, etc. At the same time, it can be illegal, can cause harm sometimes, etc.

So this dream could have to do with looking at two sides of situation.

I think the part in the dream where your fingers get burnt is a message that you are getting into a situation without knowing all the risks.

Your fingers looking branded could mean that it is too late to go back and change things.

You cousin closing the door on you also gives the message of you not being able to go back.
