    I looked it up. The reason is that the mother of the woman who started the campaign to have a Mother's Day in America died the second week of May. So we celebrate it the second Sunday in May in her honor.

    A blonde driver is stopped for speeding. The blonde police officer asks her for ID. The driver asks what that is. The officer says "something with your picture on it." The driver takes out her makeup mirror and gives it to the officer. The officer looks at it and says, "If I had known you were a police officer in the first place, we could have avoided this whole thing."

    A man opens up his sandwich, to find it has two wires attached and something hard in the middle. Very curious, he takes it to the police station. The police officer looks concerned and asks the man "Is it ticking"
