I have had several dreams this year....about one every week so far and sometimes more often than that.... that i have a baby, am giving birth to a baby, i am pregnant, or i want to plan to get pregnant and usually my boyfriend is all for it. I do not actually want to have a baby b/c i still have to finish school...i am getting my masters but i need to finish and get my doctorate too before i want kids idealy. Pluss i just dont have enough money for a baby right now. So for all the logical reasons i know that i actually dont want a baby and my boyfriend and i have talked about this several times and he definately wants kids but feels like we should wait also till we are finished with our carreers. However these dreams make me think twice about the issue. if i dont want a baby....then why do i keep having all these dreams....is my biological clock ticking?

If a baby is on your mind, whether you want one or not, then it is natural for you to dream about a baby. However, a baby in a dream could represent the development of something new - such as your education and career after you get your doctorate.

Only your conscious mind can make the decision about whether or not it is the right time to have a baby. If you are worried about your biological clock, then see a doctor and/or do some research on the subject.

    another baby dream

Last night i had another dream about having a baby
THis time i was in the hospital giving birth. after i had the baby they told me that it was a 5 pound baby....which i thought was a little small but not too small. then the scene switched to the baby being in my arms and i was holding it crying. The doctor told me that the baby was not breathing correctly and that they needed to put it on breathing machines. I was holding the baby and helping it breath with the machine....then the machine fell and the baby started to almost die....i was so scared but got the machine to work again for the baby. I was so sad about the baby but at the same time so happy about it. I knew somehow the baby would soon be okay....but i woke up crying.

Just a really sad dream for me and i would like some feedback on it...if you have any. thanks.

Sounds like you are worried about being inadequate in something - maybe your work for your masters?

The fact that you know the baby will be OK is good - it shows that you have confidence in yourself.

I think waking up crying was a way for you to relieve stress.
