    I see a hallway with a bare wall with wide metal doors along it. No windows. I see a young man and woman enter one of the doors. I don't get a good look at the woman, but the man has blond hair, a rugged build, pale complexion, and beady inward eyes. I peer inside just enough to see the room resembles a motel room. Later I'm with co-workers standing outside this place and the young man comes out carrying a paper bag and closes the door quickly. I have a bad feeling and ask a co-worker to open the door. She does and looks inside and backs up and starts to get sick. I'm afraid to look and another co-worker looks in and says that a long brush, like the kind used to clean off snow from cars, is sticking out of her anus. She is dead.

    The next scene I'm in another room with three guys in their underwear and they are laughing about something. One of the guys resembles a student at the school in which I work. I peer around the corner and see a figure covered in a sheet with something protruding from the body, but couldn't tell what it was because of the sheet.

    end

    this is the second disturbing dream about murder this week. :eek:mg:

    The scene suggests a situation that pertains to a way of thinking, one that can relate to situation you are going through or have to endure. ( I see a hallway) Here this seems to be a situation in which you may not be seeing the picture – not getting an idea (a bare wall). It is also one that might not suggest having any need to be on the lookout but it also provides no opportunity to see reality. (no windows) There appear to be several options or opportunities to get out of your way of thinking or out of the situation you are going through. (doors along it) If the doors were all closed, none may seem particularly inviting. In fact each option appears to “test your metal” – be a test of what you are made of in terms of courage and endurance. (metal doors) The wide metal doors can imply that each option seen may not reflect God’s “straight and narrow”.

    Using a belief you have, one option is selected. (a young man and woman enter one of the doors) The belief being used is centred upon an idea or way of thinking which appears rather enlightened or intelligent (the man has blond hair) and may seem sound enough (rugged) but its health or soundness may be questionable. (pale complexion) Using this mental perspective could give you a less than desirable ability to see and understand. (beady inward eyes) The beady eyes might also suggest some craftiness or undesirable cleverness in how things are seen, understood or believed. Yet the point of view being taken by this way of thinking and the emotional response it has obtained (the woman) appears to be one that is usually arrived at through rational thinking . (the room resembles a motel room)

    You could be using an aspect of yourself that it would pay or benefit you to work with when you stand for seeing this apparently intelligent idea leaving a point of point which implied it was arrived at through the use of rational thinking. (with co-workers standing outside this place and the young man comes out) And, close off the option to use such a point of view. (closes the door)

    The mental perspective involved here could relate to an issue that is “your bag”, that is, relate to a special interest or current preoccupation. {This could refer to your interest in politics.} It might also suggest mentally thinking something is “in the bag” – a sure or certain thing – or possibly thinking in terms of “being left holding the bag” – getting the blame for a bad situation. (man comes out carrying a paper bag)

    Apparently you have a feeling that something is not right in a situation in which the mental attitude being used gives every indication of having been arrived at through the use of rational thinking. (I have a bad feeling and ask a co-worker to open the door) When looking into this situation something can be seen that would emotionally sicken or disgust you. Your original emotional response in favor of a way of thinking has been terminated in a way that strongly implies that your mind with its supposedly intelligent thinking (the blond man) has no respect for your emotional nature or feelings. (something sticking out of her anus) Your mind and its way of thinking has in effect said, “up yours”. The death of the woman in essence indicates suffering a loss to your emotional self which has come about through a positive or favourable emotional response to what looked like an enlightened or intelligent idea or way of thinking.

    What your mind has used to show such disrespect for your emotional nature is represented by the windshield wiper. The wiper represents the idea that when using a rational way of thinking or a rational philosophy we always have to clear away those emotions, particularly negative ones, which can prevent us from having the clearest view or understanding of a situation. Here this idea becomes the insult directed at that aspect of the emotional body designed for acknowledging sin or errors of thought, the anus.

    Next you could see yourself using a point of view in which you appear to have a good or godly way of thinking or idea. (in another room with three guys) Yet mentally this thinking is putting you in a shameful position (in their underwear) and not taking something seriously. (laughing about something) What may have significance is that you could see yourself mentally having something to learn. (One of the guys resembles a student at the school) {Is this a student who is making a real effort to learn or one who does not?}

    A figure covered in a sheet would usually refer to a dead body. The dead body might imply seeing something has happened “over your dead body” – over your objections – emotionally speaking. The dead body might simply suggest some emotional devastation that is soon to be seen or encountered. (around the corner) The protruding something from the body might suggest a death by stabbing. Have you perhaps inflicted emotional pain on yourself with some wild guess or through finding fault with yourself?

    Thank you for the long, thought out reply.

    The sense I get of the metal doors is an institution. It is something difficult to escape from. The young man with the beady eyes represents the one in charge of the institution. The victim in the room represents the weak. The paper bag he's carrying represents something hidden or mysterious.

    This resonates for me:

    The reason is twofold. One, it reminds me of recent stories in the news I've read and heard about secret torture prisons. Rationally, I know we live in a dangerous world and sometimes the authorities have to use tough measures to get information. But I don't subscribe to torture and don't believe it works to get reliable information. Emotionally, this issue sickens me. The authorities in control have all the power, and this is frightening to a lot of people here in the U.S.

    Looking inward, I've gone through some spiritual transitions in the past several years. Some beliefs I've had I now question by using rational thinking in place of spiritual or religious belief. I know do not accept any belief system without proof. Part of me misses the "head in the clouds" approach to life. I had a dream recently, that I posted in the lucid dream section, where I went back to that old way of thinking/believing and it felt good.
