Hello, So my dream from last night started with me in bed with another guy (my subconsious seems to communicate with me through sex as it happens a lot :rasta The scene is happening in my room at my parents' house. This tall blond guy leaves the bed to go through my closet and end up in the bathroom. Eventually he comes back with a lighten birthday candle in his asshole... Then, somewhere I see a snake (not sure about the order), I try to scream and alert my parents and the guy but nobody hears me, so I make noise. I go down the stairs, pass the kids that my mum takes care of, I go outside and I see another one but this one is running away when he sees me. The first snake comes to me, I think in my parents's room and I'm not afraid anymore so I let the snake approaching me like a cat, he bites me, it's not painful at first but I realize it is swollen and red and becomes painful. My mum wants to call a doctor to give me a vaccin but I say no because I believe vaccins are full of chemical and will probably kill me. (I have been in a relationship for 2 months and it may have to do something with it) Thank you...
This "My subconsious seems to communicate with me through sex as it happens a lot" made me think that this dream is full of phallic symbols - the birthday candle, the snake, the vaccination (syringe). I normally don't look at dreams in this kind of Freudianish way, but in this case, what do you think?
Why do you think your unconscious uses sex and sexual symbols in order to send you messages? Maybe to you, "sex" stands for something else.
