Had a disturbing dream the other night. It was bothering me all day so I finally found some pen and paper and wrote it down....It was warm and muggy there was a mist but then the sun came out and shined brightly through the hillside. Lush greenery covered the mountain range. We were walking along a pathway and crossed over a wooden bridge. Peering over the side I saw straw covered rooftops in the valley. We walked down into the valley towards the huts. I had a sense of longing. It was a yearning sensation for something that had been lost. This sensation was overwhelming to the brink of sadness. A great sadness had overtaken my sense of being. When we arrived at the huts with the straw covered rooftops I opened the door and walked inside. Once inside all I wanted to do was to go back to where I came from. Although, I knew I could never go back. I could never reclaim what I had lost and the sadness overwhelmed me. Then I woke up.

    Have you suffered a loss?

You may have been repressing feelings of sadness about something in your waking life, and these feelings are being released in your dream.

Does the scenery in the dream remind you of anything in your waking life?
