Okay, this dream is probably a sign that I've been reading too many tech blogs. You don't need to tell me that.

I was trying out the beta test for Apple's new operating system on the computer at my old house. One thing it could do was run Microsoft Windows at the same time (something that most Apple Macs can already do). When we were on the Windows desktop, several copies of an email popped up.

It said that Apple was planning to buy Microsoft. And I knew in the dream that it was meant for the eyes of Apple employees only. All the messages disappeared about 30 seconds later.

I was probably the only one who saw this, and I had no proof that it happened, since I didn't take a screenshot. But I was happy that I had come across the Apple rumour of the century. I was going to tell the world somehow, and even if they didn't believe me, I would one day be proved right.

In the real world, I know how Apple are very secretive about what they do, and Apple rumours get a lot of hype. But I also know that buying Microsoft is something they would never do, even if they could.

I think this dream has to do with power - gaining more control by knowing something that other people didn't know.
