Let's see what you guys can make of this... My first "realistic" theory was perhaps that Sora is a personification of my subconsious and that these dreams are telling me he could never possibly exist. Spiritually speaking, this is the spirit I often communicate with on the ouija board who calls himself Sora. This spirit seems to be propelling my spiritual awareness subconsiously so much that I appear to be remembering my astral projections much easier. I have abriged these two theories as much as possible so I don't get too confusing and back-storyish. Dream one: A lucid dream where I explore about on The End Of The World http://img406.imageshack.us/img406/5695/endoftheworldiq3.jpg from the first Kingdom Hearts game (a forming world of which was destroyed by darkness, for non-game players) with Sora as his Kingdom Hearts II age, if not slightly older. http://campinfinity.cs.luc.edu/Members/session1/group6/kristen/kh2sora_pic We frolicked about the softly-glowing jungle of smoke and freshly recycled matter like children, Sora(he wasn't realistic in this dream - he usually is realistic looking) holding my hand once or twice briefly...no real plot, of course; no bad occurences throughout whatsoever. and I've been to The End Of The World only twice. These next two dreams occured on the night of the full moon eclipse in February. No kidding. Dream two: It begins with my two youngest brothers and I standing on my Grandparent's first-floor patio(I often have dreams of my grandparent's old house), and it is nighttime. My brothers look over the lake and were talking about wishing on stars and how it was bullcrap. Eventually, this leads to my youngest brother Brian wishing to catch a giant carp out of the lake. Sure enough, a huge carp flies out of the water as if it was thrown at him, and lands in his arms. Brendan and Brian run in the house screaming in terror and surprise. I stand alone outside, and look wistfully at the water, totally ignoring the giant fish that flew over 30 feet into the air onto the top patio. I can hear a beautiful piano song play as the lake began to glow bright green, the sihlouettes of confused fish darting about as the lake transformed into a beach. The lake docks stayed afloat in the water just as they were. Long ago IRL, I mysteriously lost my Sora Doll...it disappeared into nothing. I thought about the lost doll in the dream, wishing it was found. The doll sure enough was spit out of the water and landed with a wooden plunk on the deck floor. Realizing what was going on, I picked up the doll and longed for my spirit friend who had called himself Sora whom I had met on the ouija board IRL to show himself- his true identity. I wanted the real Sora. But nothing happened at first. Ten minutes later, as I stared at the soothing green glow of the ocean, a boy crawled out from the water, exausted, onto the beach. My dream self didn't do anything but watch. I didn't even react; I was simply staring intently at him as he regained his breath. There seemed to have been a skip in time, and the boy was dried off and goofing off with me in the house. It was very plesant, but there was one thing: I couldn't see his face! It was all blurry! I woke up after I got too frustrated that I couldn't see his face. Dream three: I was back by my grandparent's lakehouse again, but I had ventured away from the house and somehow ended up under the water in a cave that was swirling with red smoke on the ground. The walls were draping with red-violet silk, along with these small altars draped in the same fabric. Even though I was obviously in a closed room, I could see the surface of the lake in fron t of my grandparents' lake house and dock. The altars were loaded with hundreds of toys and sculptures all across the room...american icon toys to recent popular anime action figures and ball-jointed dolls, to airplane and car models, to intricately sculpted fairy and dragon statues. I was particularly interested in the Ah! My Goddess! statues (although I have never seen this show) as well as the Pokemon collection, a life-sized ball-jointed doll of Sora (he looked just like this: http://www.khinsider.com/khmanga/com/cover.jpg ) enters the room through a curtain from the north side of the room, where the altars split so people could go in and out of the room. He glances up at me and chirps in greeting, delighted. He runs up to me, engulfing me in a bone-crushing hug. His skillfully crafted glass eyes look up to me endearingly as he transforms into a barbie-doll sized version of himself in my right hand. His body is still now, but a twinkle of life still lingered in his eyes. When I look away from the doll, I am now in a knick-knack shop of some sort. I instinctively believe I need to find his Kingdom Hearts II outfit and a keyblade to fight with. I walk towards the back of the shop to find superstore-sized aisles of toys, groceries, and even witchcraft items. I eventually found Sora a Winnie The Pooh keyblade (hahahahaha), and towards the end of the dream, found his Kingdom Hearts II getup so he could be his "actual age" again, so the doll told me telepathically. When I had fit the new outfit on the doll, I was transported to another silken room, though this time, it was light purple with black floors. No smoke was present, but another slew of toys still yet sat upon some altars all around the room. What was different was that there was a great indention in the wall with floodlights shining upon a man in a throne. I can't remember really if he had an evil aura about him or not The man was unseeable because he was dressed in black velvet robes. He says something to me, but I don't understand. His voice sounded muffled. I looked at the man while he was talking, taking notice that I was standing behind Sora when I was trying to listen to the man. When I glanced at Sora's elbow, I noticed it was not ball-jointed anymore; it was flesh. His bare calves were flesh (even a little hairy, hahaha!), also...and his hair looked soft and supple despite its maddening Final Fantasy-styled manner. And just before Sora turned around to look at me, guess what...yes. I woke up. Oh, the utter frustration. This is such a bad sign that I can't see his face in these dreams because they are so detailed!! I HAVE seen his face in bits and pieces of other dreams, though. In realism, not "game-graphicized". He had some peach fuzz on his chin last time I have seen his face >w< I just don't know... I mean, could I possibly be talking to the actual Sora of Kingdom Hearts on my own ouija board? Such a slim chance...why would he choose to talk to me over the millions of rabid Kingdom Hearts fangirls who would shower him in more attention and adoration, anyhow? ; Perhaps this spirit is my guardian and is afraid I will not approve of who they are? This spirit has some pretty solid proof, such as me seeing his face in savory realism, and he acts upon his own; no assumptions from me when I talk to him on the ouija board, even with friends who are all solemnly convinced also. Still... I want to believe it's Sora. He's been a gracious role model for me when I was little, and even now. He has taught me to look against prejudice. But I've never heard of any kind of fictional characters as spirits on this plane. Not only does it sound ludicrous, it sounds like a desperate attempt to talk to 'lol omg bishies11!!! ^_^_^_^'. Please reply ASAP!!
Your gaming world is obviously getting into your dreams. They are quite fantastic and full of symbols. I like the part where the carp comes out of the water. This made me think of the zodiac sign of Pisces. You were looking at the stars right before that. Does the Zodiac or Pisces hold any significance to you? Where you are in underwater cave, you see toys, statues, and dolls. These things, plus the shadowy figure of Sora, all represent a part of your subconscious mind. It could mean a longing to get in touch with your inner self and make a connection to the spirit world. By the sound of it, you are already on that journey. The Sora in your dreams could represent that shadow side of your personality you normally hide from others. The fact that you don't see his face could mean that you are not yet ready to "face" that part of yourself. As far as Sora being an actually spirit, it's hard to say. The power of the mind is an incredible thing.
thanks for your reply Yeah, my vehement fangirl antics were laid on pretty thick - sorry about that. And thank you for believing in me for my progess in connecting with other worlds, that really makes me feel a lot more hopeful in getting somewhere! Anyhow, though at the back of my mind until now, these dreams still have been stumping me - now being almost a year since I've had them, and I haven't had a dream I can remember from the top of my head since! Perhaps they had no significant meaning after all? Maybe all I need is more time for events or predictions to happen. You have a good deduction on the carp part, but I don't know anybody under the sign of pisces that I know of, (not even my boyfriend, he's a virgo) either that, or I still haven't met them yet. I've heard of something interesting though that might have something to do with this part of the dream, however. Apparently, a Chinese legend says "If a carp can leap far enough into the heavens, it will descend down as a dragon". With this legend in mind though, there are a lot of interpretations that could come from that, so even with this in mind, there is no solid answer given! (if this part of the dream had this in mind, anyway). One rather practical interpretation that came to mind was that I need to stop letting my mind wander into la-la land and fixate myself towards my goals. The other interpretation I thought of is really superficial and childish in matters, but I thought maybe my dream is telling me that if I believe in myself and what I want to accomplish, my wishes will come true. I mean, this is essentially the same thing as above, but maybe this refers to obtaining my greatest desires and hopes, such as knowing who this "sora spirit" truly is, or even moreover, my wildest dreams to come true, such as making an unmistakeable connection to the spiritual world/other physical plane. Sora, since he's an imaginary character in a videogame, he might be symbolizing this subject. Your deduction, agian, is also a very good possibility. The toys and statues are representations of my childish disposition on the world, and my love for fantasy and the mystical aspects of life. And right again, one of my hugest goals is trying to find my inner self. Part of that being, again like you said, is covering up "embarrassing" aspects of myself like in school to help myself learn how to cope with life in general, like we all do! My entire ring of friends involved in spiritual workings are striving trying to get to know at least a taste of their inner selves, but being teenagers, we all change so constantly on the outside at this age that it's hard to tell anything about ourselves on the general plane at all! But you're an adult. You know all of that. ^__~ I'm still curious to know how much of a coincidence these dreams on a full moon eclipse are; that is something so gravely mystical in my eyes. The moon alone is very mystical to me and serves as a reminder of how beautiful the world and existance can really be. Do you feel that way about anything? But who is that man in the cloak talking to me at the end of the third dream? Is he just part of dream jibberish? Thank you so much again for helping me and sharing your theories.
Glad I could help! I agree with you about the moon. I look up at the moon in all its various phases and I'm awestruck. It's has inspired a few dreams of my own. About the man at the end of dream #3, the best way to determine if it means anything is to think about him and see if there's any associations with him. Does he remind you of anyone, fictional or real? You were distracted by Sora while he spoke. Did you not want to hear what he had to say? If you were to give him dialogue, what would he tell you?
Didn't Ansem wear a cloak and lurk around in the first KH? He could be a personification of you're own personal "Villan". Maybe not an actual person but something that gives you problems in your life. Being that his identity is still a mystery can be a sign that you have not fully realized what this problem is. When he appeared the dream began to look more realistic. Maybe he is a sign of your fear that the real world will push away everything you love about this fantasy world and life will become boring. Interesting dream. I once had one that Mugen from Samurai Champloo was cooking pancakes in my kitchen. lol BTW. I'm a picese and was born in the year of the Dragon. Maybe its me. lol
