So last night I had a strange/interesting dream that I think has something to do with me and my boyfriend.

My bf was with me in an apartment in my dream. His ex-girlfriend was also there (in real life I've only met her once and she seemed nice). In my dream I sensed myself feeling a little bit jealous but I didn't mind her being there too much since she seems like a nice person. I walked into the living room and opened the front door. A large snake came in through the door and I ran to the room to tell me bf that there was a snake in the house. I told him to kill it. We closed the door to the room because the snake had been following me and we didn't want the snake to get in. Then his ex-girlfriend all of a sudden has a gun. She opens the door and the snake is supposed to be right there so each time she opens the door she starts shooting. Instead of the snake being there it is a cat and she shoots at the cat 2 or 3 times until it's killed. The snake is still somewhere in the living room but somehow I end up going back into the living room. My bf and his ex are still in the bedroom for a minute and I hear a sound that sounds like he is kissing her and I go back to see if they are going to come out of the room. They begin to follow me and we quickly leave the house to avoid the snake and we get in a car.

I'm not so sure if the ex-girlfriend was in my dream do to jealousy or trust issues... I mean I felt a slight sense of that in the dream however I was somewhat okay with her being in the dream and actually the snake is what stood out most to me in the dream. That and the fact that the ex-girlfriend had the gun and was trying to shoot the snake and killed a cat instead. She was the one doing the shooting when I had originally told my bf to get the snake.

Wow! That's pretty cool! You answered your own dream. You do have some jealousy issues, but that's normal. You are worried that she is going to get in the way of you and your boyfriend. That's why in the dream they are together. You say that you met her once and she seemed nice, but I can tell, that didn't set too well with you.
The snake at the door is her. In real life she may be nice, and probably is, but you fear that your boyfriend has feelings for her. You run in to tell them about the snake and the ex girlfriend shooting at it may show that she is trying to convey to you that getting rid of the snake would ease your mind about the jealousy issues. One thing is for sure. You really don't want her to know that you are jealous of her. The cat is you. A cat always lands on their feet and you want to be that cat. You wanted your boyfriend to shoot the snake (meaning you wanted him to be rid of his ex) But her shooting at the cat until it is dead shows that you have deep fears of this girl getting rid of you so she can get back with him. Don't worry hun...your feelings are completely normal. But don't go through life fearing that someone is going to take what you want. Sometimes you just have to reach out and claim it, leaving your fears behind.

I had this dream months ago but, you know, the weird thing about it is that the ex-gf and how she seemed nice is that I really meant it. Like thinking about it now I'm not jealous of her because she was really nice to me and I haven't even seen her since. She doesn't hang around my bf or anything and I don't even think they talk anyway. So perhaps this dream is really conveying that message except talking about the ex before her actually... because I met her once too.

She will text my bf every other month or so and he says he doesn't initiate talking to her. But she just recently got married at the end of October and she's pregnant with the guy that she is with. Anyway, back in the beginning of September during the time my bf and I were broken up for a month she had texted him talking about how things weren't really working out with this guy that is now her husband but that she was pregnant. She then start saying stuff like she missed cuddling him and stuff. She found out we're back together and everything but she still likes to just keep in touch every other month or so and it bugs me because she still has some sort of feelings for him... it's obvious. So I don't see the point in her checking up on him every couple of months. She has a husband. LOL

I've talked to my bf about it. He says he doesn't talk to her... the she talks to him but he's texted he back or else she wouldn't have known we were back together when we did. But I don't know I just figured that since I trust my bf that I'm not going to let it ruin my relationship with him as long as he doesn't see her, etc. So yeah.
