    Hi,

I know what I am about to say sounds weird, but here it is anyway.

Since the last couple of nights it is like 35 degrees here I use this ventilator. However when it is really quiet, I can very, very obviously hear people talking, from the ventilator. First I hear this like really wierd sounds, like a rope with all these cans tied down to it and then dragged on the floor. The sound seems distant yet near, like a differend frequency perhaps (?). Then voices show up. Not because I am tired and they are coming FROM the ventilator not from outside. The voices very obviously show moods, like angry, sad, screaming-voices or just normal sounding voices. It is not always clear what they are saying because multiple people are trying to speak, but somethimes it is so clearly (although never loud), that I can hear them. Last night a male voice said (this is translated): 'I did not do it. I did not do it. Why would you think that?'. Then there was this little girl voice but I could not hear her correctly.

I have been hearing these voices for days and I would really like to know what it is. Do you guys know what it could be? If it is really quiet, you could perhaps listen to a ventilator yourself maybe you can hear it to my sister also says she can hear 'something'.

P.s - This is *not* a sound from outside, cause I only hear it when the ventilator is on and it is on and off a lot and the sound is only there when it is on. I am 100% sure it is not a sound from outside. Iheard something about low frequency noise, but it never said that lfn showed voices.

And I just heard those voices aswel, sitting behind this computer with no sound on. This time I could hear them clearly aswel, it sounded like the tv was on and I thought it was and then I saw it was off. You might not believe me but I am telling the truth.

    Relax, I believe you!!

Let me tell you what happened to me the other night. I sleep with the fan running and when I was laying on my left side, I could her faint conversations, like a TV down low. I got up and searched, Nope, nobody but me here. Thinking I was partly dreaming, I lay back down, same position and low and behold---the voices again. It sounded like an honest to goodness conversation, one male and one female. When I turn my head, it goes.

It was something about laying in that position that produced those "voices." I can't explain it either.

Now, about hearing the sounds when you shouldnt':

While living with my parents I could hear their pendulum clock go off at the hour, and it made a god-awful noise, like a sick bird with a loose voice box.

For some strange reason, I kept hearing it afterward, over and over again, I thought I was going insane. I had to lay there calmly and tell myself that I wasnt' going crazy, it was just an echo residue from that awful noise.

I was able after awhile to drift off to sleep.

I do think sounds echo in your head when you don't want them to. Obviously from the tone of your post, the voices from the ventilator disturb you and they are "haunting" you when it's quiet.

Try to relax and listen to some soft music in its place.

:rofl2: I doubt there is "something" in the ventilator.

Does your ventilator really make a noise, like from a motor? Sometimes when I have been stressed or very tired, my brain takes noises that don't mean anything and translates them into speech. As sweet slumber says, try to relax.

When you say it is 35 degrees, you mean celsius right? (That would be very hot, fahrenheit would be very cold.) If so, the heat may be affecting your thinking and your ability to sleep properly. Try to do what you can to stay cool.

    Hey,
Thats really weird, but I believe you. When I was younger my mother and I moved into this new house, and sometimes when I would walk down the hallway I would hear someone strumming on a guitar softly. Like when you pluck on an electric guitar without an amp. It would continue for a few seconds after I entered my bedroom, then stop. I lived in that house for over six months and it happened almost every day.
Maybe the ventilator creates a kinnda echo chamber that projects frequencys that you would not be able to normaly hear.

    Dont Know why

I know what you mean. I have awakened and it seemed like I could hear someone saying something out loud almost yelling but once i wake up it stops. Some time ago I kept waking up to the sound of a child calling her mother, but of course i thought i was dreaming, later on I asked my mom if she had heard anything and she said she heard little girl crying. I dont know why these things happen but I pray on them immediatly just in case someone is trying to reach out for help. Maybe were all kind of pyshic and so we pick up on things, but yes I would get rid of the ventilator too.

Your brain stores the sounds of voices, doesn't it?
Sometimes when you're expecting to hear something, you hear it.
    Like with cell phones.
The cell phone went off two times in a row, after that I kept hearing it. But nope, no new calls. No missed calls.
It was just in my mind.
It's like sitting really still and focusing, sometimes I feel like the Earth is rotating under me, I think it may just be because that's what I know and expect to feel.

For the voices, it could be a stored sound memory of your parents fighting or something, and it's just playing in your mind.
Just remember it's probably not real, and listen to some music or something to get your mind off it. There's no point in stressing yourself out over something like that, is there?

And you're NOT crazy. I bet everyone experiences something like this at least once in their lifetime.

    Well, I hope that helps.
    :)
