Last night I had this dream where my parents and I were looking for a new home. We arrived at a huge white house with a picket fence surrounding it. I had never seen this house before but for some reason I felt that I had been here several times. We went on the house tour but when we got to the second floor, I went away from the group to look at a room that I was really drawn to. The room had pink carpeting and the bedding was a frilly pink with stuffed animals everywhere. I just knew that I had been here before. I found a letter in the huge dollhouse in the corner. The letter was written by a little girl that had the same last name as me and she was the same age. I get the feeling that she was my twin for some reason. I started to cry but I can't remember what the letter says. I sneak off to the boat house which is also white but has mold and vines growing all over it, it is very old and decrepit looking. I walk through the door and see the ghost of a little girl wearing a blue dress and she has brown pigtails. The little girl is skipping rope and smiling at me.

I have had this dream many times and it is always the same. I cannot figure it out, it makes me sad cause I feel like something horrible happened to the girl.

Interesting, and such powerful imagery. The part where you go to the room you were drawn to could be a metaphor for finding or discovering a part of yourself that you didn't know existed or was hidden. The type of room it was could be a clue.

What comes to mind when you think of "frilly, pink, stuffed animals, and dolls"? I think of things that are feminine, youthful, and carefree. What words come to mind for you? The words could be something within yu that you wish to discover or want to learn more about.

The part about the letter and the crying is interesting. This could be related to an unresolved hurt that occured when you were this girl's age that was sort of bubbling its way to the surface of your subconcious. Does anything about this resonate ?

Ghosts can also be a metaphor for memories of the past.

I have no idea what this could mean, I had a very good childhood nothing bad ever happened except my mom had cancer when I was about the little girl's age. I get the feeling of terrible sadness when I see the room and I feel like the girl is related to me in the dream but something terrible happened in that house and I think the girl was murdered. I don't know, the dream really bothers me it's sad. I have had this dream at least 6 times throughout my life.

Often characters in our dreams show up that represent ourselves. I think that little girl IS you. You are experiencing the sadness you felt at that age when your mother died. This is natural.

If you strongly feel that it is a "voice" from beyond the grave, then I would suggest talking to someone who's experienced in those things.

But I do think it is the dream bringing you back to your childhood. You are just missing your mother and feeling the pain of your loss.

    Good luck!

Those who bore you are leading you through and trying to get you to look at other places in which to store your spirit. You're thinking that they're looking at you as a little girl, and what they don't know is that you have some things hidden away that you don't wish to share with them.

You're given a message from the "little girl" inside you, and it makes you cry, because you're remembering who you once were and then you're reminded of what you have/will become if you take another path.

In spirit, you're trying to choose a new home (or place where your spirit is contained) that is pleasing to all involved; yet, with the guilt you feel somehow, or somehow not releasing what you feel but only because you feel it's child-like, then you're keeping yourself outside the family (the bathhouse).

Your not happy in spirit, though there was a time when you were more elevated in spirit and something happened (maybe your mother's cancer) that brought you down.

A door opening is passage from outside to inside - meaning you might be internalizing things instead of speaking what you feel to everyone.

    God bless you,
