I have nightly vivid dreams that I always remember. The ones related about work, I can pick out readily, but last night I had some that were work related and others that I have no clue. I'm interested in dream interpretation, but have never really explored to much about it.
Any help in interpreting these two dreams would be appreciated....

    Dream 1:
I am walking with a group of peopled (all women) through a forest in Paris, France. We have just left a restaurant/bar and were discussing work....where I felt I was working too hard and was missing deadlines due to my dependency on other departments. Evidently, these people were all co-workers of mine and my boss. They didn't resemble my co-workers and my boss is great and a male. As we are walkling through the forest, I advise my (female boss in the dream) that I am quitting. She is surprised and asks me the typical questions you get when you quit a job. For some reason we will be flying from Paris to London and back to the states. I decide to fly direct to the states from Paris. We are still in the deserted forest and I tell an attractive Indian woman that I have special powers and will be fine. She thinks I'm nuts, but I start to fly slowly over the treess (30ft up). She lets me bring her with me as I fly. All of us end back at a large bar (set in an almost Medival and Modern setting) Some of the people are medival and some are what you would expect in Paris. There are some police gathered and I overhear them talking to a co-worker who is explaining what I just did with the Indian female. I get the sense that they will try and arrest she and I. I warn her that she can stick with me or be arrested. I can't remember what she decides, but the police come up to the second floor of the bar where we are and start questioning us. I advise them that they are making a big mistake and need to leave while they can. The captain just laughs and implies that is it the two of us who are in trouble. I reach for the Indian Girl and fly to the middle of the large bar's floor and all of the attention is now on us. I start to speak in Latin and several famous actors and high level parisians come out of the crowd to stand with me in support. It turns out that I am some sort of high level vampire (without the sharp teeth and cape) and I have the complete power to protect myself and anyone else I so choose, but there is no need once the police realize how powerful I am and the people that are also willing to protect me. So the dream ends well and I am powerful.

    Dream #2:

I'm in a cabin who knows where with my Mom and Dad. A small two bedroom cabin. I'm up a little late watching TV. There is a door to the outside near my room. It has a small door (like a screen door, but with wooden slats instead of a screen). Suddenly, something like a bear tries to get in to this unlocked door. I'm freaking out, but am able to shut the larger door with great effort and don't fell completely safe as the door lock / door seems like it could be easily breached. Everything becomes quite, and I look out the window and see two wild dogs and no bears.

I start to wonder if they have moved to the door near my parents bedroom. Then in my dream that house becomes very large, but is still a rustic cabin. And, there are two babies in it that my parents seem to have hidden in an effort to make them safe. It appears that bandits have taken my parents away and others. I never saw my parents or anyone in the house other than the bandits. I do finally see all of the bandits and the leader on the bottom floor of the house in a bar similar to the one in the first dream. I tell the leader that he has made a huge mistake and if not corrected he and everyone in the room would pay for it with their lives. Some of the bandits throw knives at me and all miss. Several bandits attack me and are easily struck down by me. Not killed just knocked down/out. I either hit them or some other force I'm able to generate invisibly stops them. The lead Bandit is scared and brings back everyone that has been kidnapped and he and the others leave quickly and apologetically.

That is the end of the two dreams. Someone will probably tell me I need to be locked up. I have a great life, and am a very positive person.

I would be interested to hear what other say about these dreams. Maybe you could make sense of it.

    Thanks,
    RBMD

In the first dream, you are going through a forest. A forest is a place often described and dipicted in legends and folk tales. My impression is that you are going through a transition in your life that probably has some spiritual significance related to your past. Have you not gone to church and are thinking of going back, or at least get in touch again with your faith?

Perhaps you feel small at work, not important. This dream is helping you find your voice, or your "power." Do you wish you had more power at work?

In the second dream, you successfully kept the "bear" out. How do you feel about bears? It could also be a play on the word "bare." Do you feel the need to bare your soul to somebody?

You defeat the bandits too. I view these dreams as very empowering and uplifting.

You're not crazy. You're quite healthy. Keep up the good work!

I think you were right on target.

    1) I had been a regular church goer for years and have stopped for the last year for various understandable reasons. My family and I are trying to decide if we should find another church or get more involved in a new church.

I'm in Sales, and for the first time I'm finding it a struggle to make a large sale. This has never been a problem in the past. So, I'm thinking it is also related to my lack of an "official" commitment to the church.

    2) No fear or thoughts for bears, and not sure if I have anything to bare, but I guess I'm trying to mentally change my attitude about work failure and get back on the "successful" track.

    I really appreciate your interpretation!

Glad I could help. It's always nice to get feedback, whether the interpretation was helpful or not. It's appreciated.
