    Hi,

I had another dream here it goes:

I was in my old house. (We had to sell the house back in 1998, because when my dad left us we could not afford to keep it). It was quite a big house and it was beautiful. However in my dream it was abandoned and the walls were ruined, and the house just gave this sad impression. I went upstairs to see my old bedroom but there was no light in the bedroom and it was especially dark in my parents bedroom.

In my memories the house always looked beautiful but seeing the house in my dream made me realise that the house from my memories doesn't exist anymore.

    What could it mean?

It sounds to me like grieving for things in your life that have changed.

    me too!

i moved from my childhood home in 1995, and ever since then, any dreams which have had the home as their setting are almost always based in that house..even though i've been at my current address for over 10 years... we did have to leave the house in a rush, and as i spent my formative years there, i think i still retain a link..

i dreamt of it last night and as with your dream, it was in a state of disrepair..

i'm thinking of going back there (it's local) to see if i can 'goodbye' and try to move on..

    :)

You'll always dream about your childhood home, no matter where you live in the future. It's the space in which most of your subconscious thoughts and your perceptions of the world were formed, it's natural and unavoidable that your dreams will feature your childhood home. :)

    Hi,

You know what's so weird? I hadn't had dreams about my old house for years and suddenly I had one and it appears (I just heard) that the people who bought the house from us in 1998, sold it at the exact same time as I had this dream. I'm serious, it's so weird, what do you guys think?
