I had this dream about a month ago and it has fascinated me ever since. I cannot seem to get a hold of the meaning of the dream:

I was climbing up a hill in a nearby park. There was melting snow scattered around green grass. It was not a bad climb at first but eventually it became difficult. I started to climb up on pink logs that were in the ground. I finally got to the top of the hill. I felt very relieved. I then noticed a tiny old woman. She was just walking through the park I was in. She seemed Native American and was clothed in turqoise traditional Native American wear. I knew that she was no harm but I looked into her eyes, her deep dark eyes, and became extremely frightened. I started to run down the hill to my house. I had trouble running away, I stumbled. The thought came into my mind that I did not want her to know where I lived so I started to run to the house a few doors from mine.

What comes to mind when I read the dream is the woman may by symbolic of a female authority figure in your own life. Perhaps there is something you've recently said or done that you wondered what would....(fill in the blank) think or say about this?

Whatever it is, it was easy to do at first because of the fairly easy climb from your dream. Then you thought about it, and you thought about possible consequences, hence the stumbling down the hill after looking into the eyes of the old woman.

I really cannot think of a woman who could be represented by the one in my dream. I've thought that the old woman might be symbolic of tradition or good health, something like that.

However, I do have an ex-friend who is the same age as me who comes up frequently in my dreams. I always dream of her succeeding me or ignoring me. She's not an authority figure, but I'm always aware of her prescence and I wonder what she thinks of me now. It was fairly easy to not be her friend but after I really wasn't her friend, I regretted it.

My ex-friend could be a possibility but whenever she appears in my dreams, I know it's her. I don't believe the old woman is my ex-friend (I believe there's something more to it) but I would like to hear anyone's opinion. Thank you. :)

Dream interpretation on forums like this are a hit and miss. Sorry I wasn't of more help, but I usually approach anothers dream as if it were my own, and how I would look at it or approach it if it were mine.

There is a definate feminine element in it, the color pink is another example. Why were the logs pink? You could try a word association with "pink" and see if you get any insights with that.

Oh, it's really no problem and I thank you. I appreciate anyone giving me insight on my dreams. That's true of the color pink. Femininity helps getting to the top in a lot of ways. Whatever the meaning is, I found it a profound dream.
