I'm new to lucid dreaming, so I'm trying to get an understanding on something. I read here where it says flying and sex are common during lucid dreaming. This pertains to the sexual aspect of them...I've had dreams where I could actually feel the guy I'm with. I felt my hands in his hair, him kissing me, and beyond that. Does that mean that he may have left his body to come to me or I've left mine to go to him? He's never aware of us being together. He jokes and says he wishes he had been! If we're together that strongly, how come I'm the only one aware of it? Any input appreciated. Thanks. Cate
It doesn't mean that he is with you when this happens; it's just more real because you are aware of it and you are using your conscious as well as your unconscious to form the imagery, which means you can make it seem very real and do things that you want to do - you can even try things that you wouldn't normally be able to do/get away with in waking life; though it doesn't mean that it will turn out the same in waking life as it did in your lucid dream, they're still dreams after all but you have more control over them and awareness while in them.
I've had those I've hadthose dreams too...except it wasn't a specific person, just a stranger. I really don't know though...you think it's possible that you're touching yourself when you dream that? That sounds worse than I mean it to...like you're running your own hands through your hair...ya know, stuff like that.
Re: I've had those I think it's possible that you are touching yourself--running your hands through your hair as well as the 'worse than that' way. The only way to know would be if someone were in the room with you, or you set up a camera.
