Hi, and thank you for your help with me last dream. I had another odd one last night. I was living in a large house with a bunch of strangers. We, or someone, decided we needed to paint the interior walls. We were racing to paint the walls, I was trying to paint more than the others. The walls near the back of the house, where the bedrooms were located were being painted dark green, the walls near the front of the house, near the front door, were to be painted a slightly lighter green. Except, the wall to the left of the front door(inside looking out), in the main foyer, was to be painted light pink. Someone(an unrecognizable stranger) said that it was the accent wall. I accidently started painting a wall in that room(not the pink wall, but one of the walls that were supposed to be painted in the light green) in the darker green color when I was stopped by the others. They told me that I would need to wipe the paint off and start over. I thought this was a dumb idea because it would be easier to just paint over the lighter green with the dark green paint, which I did. I could see a few swirls of the lighter green paint when I finished(I thought, in my dream, that I should have let the paint dry better so it would cover and I hoped no one would notice). What do these colors mean in dreams? Any ideas on what it meant?
Usually a house where you live in your dreams represents yourself, with different rooms being different parts of you; there are some color/colour meanings on this page: https://www.dreaming.life/dream-themes/colors-and-dreams.htm
Color is rare? Color is dreams is rare? I find that difficult to believe. Some of the most vibrant and beautiful colors I have ever seen have been in dreams.
I think it’s normally quite rare, sometimes people think they dreamed colours because they link certain colours with certain things, like green with grass or blue with sky. Obviously though you were painting different colours so they were really there, also I think they are just rare for most people but they might be very common for a few. 8)
I was thinking that painting can also represent a new beginning or a change in your life. People paint when they are renovating a home, or as part of spring cleaning. A brand new coat of paint always makes a home seem fresh and new
