In my dream I was with my mother to a hotel. She decided to get her own room for some reason (this is odd because I am 17 and she always commands that we share the room even if I don't want to). The hotel is dark, cold, broken down. I try to sleep on the bed, I can't it is uncomfterable for it is a bed of nails. So, I give up and take a shower. The shower is one of the standing types, made of glass. The glass is shattered, somewhat still in the frames. I get inside to take a shower and the water burns like acid and because i am startled I hit myself on the broken glass causeing me to bleed very bad. Mom calls for me to go with her, that it is time to go, but I am locked in the bathroom, scared, and crying; huddled in a corner by the sink.

Please reply on any interpratations. The entire time the dream was in dark colors, blacks, grays, darker browns. Usually my dreams are colorful, this dream is most different from others I have had. Usually my dreams are blantently about sex, scary end of the world stuff, or wacky things... Like a dream I had the other day about the new cabbage patch dolls called "Alcoholic Barbie's Smearoff Doll of Obsessed Pokemon Forests" (smearoff is a name of a brand of alcohol, but i know that spelling is completly wrong... Oh well, point being I have some really screwed up dreams.

Hi, I think it sounds like an anxiety dream about growing up and surviving on your own; possibly connected with stuff from your childhood, though I don’t know about that. I think someone else had a dream with bleeding in the other day, Marcia quoted from the dream dictionary and so will I:

Dreaming about catastrophes, end of the world stuff, can also be a sign of depression; or it could just be a sign of your age and the changes involved with becoming an adult.

Most dreams aren’t nearly so screwed up as we think they are sometimes, everyone has them and everyone has had all the dreams everyone else has had. There are some common themes here if you haven't already seen them: https://www.dreaming.life/dream-themes
