I was listening to the local radio station, radio York, yesterday and this guy phoned in about strange lights he’d seen over Escrick, south of York; he said there were two sets of 3 lights in a triangle formation that hovered around and came together to make a diamond shape… you do get some folk around here who’ll make anything up like that to get on the radio or in the local paper or whatever; but it made me think of something similar that happened to me 16 years ago - my bedroom used to have huge windows that faced the same way as Escrick; I used to lay awake looking at the night sky, one time there were these lights, like the ones the man described yesterday, that hovered left to right and right to left for ages, I watched them for hours before I went to sleep; thinking they were helicopters from the local army base, wondering what the hell are they doing up there? It occurred to me yesterday that maybe this man saw the same thing, then I thought what if they were UFOs that I’d seen the first time around? I’m pretty sure they don’t have that many helicopters around here to make up 6 different light like that.
You might be pleased to know that Yorkshire has its own UFO society, the YUFOS. http://www.hufos1.karoo.net/yufos.htm

ya probably aliens from other planets i saw this alien autopsy from the ufo crash seriously it's real.
Some people believe that the American government invented the story that they were trying to cover up a story about aliens to hide the fact that they were really making experimental airplanes and weapons. :gunner:
Well i read this artical about some guys going to area 51, they went up to the boundry and these guys with shotguns told them to leave. Aparentally, Ex Navy Seals guard the area. Snipers,A.P.Cs. The works.
I have seen a UFO anyway. just a light, darting across the sky. occationaly stopping, and just moving around the sky really fast. It was about the same size as a star and just as bright. :search:
Not sure about area 51, last time I saw it there was FA there. The UFOs in York on the other hand, they are real!
well well the one i saw was alot further away, high in the sky and it only looked like one, but i thinks thats because of the distence. And that one was moving from side to side aswell
There was a documentary on American TV a couple of years ago. I didn't see it, but a friend from work told me about it. She said that one man who claimed to have worked at Area 51 said that a lot of our computer technology came out of there and it came (the technology) from alien space craft. For example, touch your computer screen and you will see a ripple like that of a rock that hits the water. The inner workings of the screen and in the computer itself are ideas that came from Area 51 (so the documentary claimed 8) ). One night traveling home from work, I was going through a small town here in Maine (Smithfield) and saw a big explosion low in the sky. To me, it looked like a meteor burning up in our atmosphere. It was spectacular! About 10 years ago, my sister and her daughter swear they witnessed a UFO over our late aunts farmhouse feild. They came to the house all excited and out of breath and described it has a cone shaped object with circular lights that swirled around it. They watched it for about 2 minutes when the thing just up and took off at about the speed of sound, Poof!, it was gone, but there was no sound.
Computers have been in development since Babbage in the 19th century. They have constantly been improved on and modified. Computer monitor designs originally developed from the design of television screens, which have also been improved upon and modified. The cathode ray tube was invented in 1897. The first plasma display was created by Donald Bitzer, Gene Slottow and Robert Willson in 1964. It was very tiny and has since been improved upon a lot. These inventions developed out of previous discoveries. They didn't just appear out of thin air.
