    The self same Annie

 Yes, the self same, but I somehow screwed up when I created my profile and now when I log in as Annie, the programme tells me that there is another Annie already and that I need to be someone else. But it is me, Annie, that the programme is talking about because it originally said that I had registered successfully with that name.

I don't know how I messed it up. As I said on the Pratchett post, I am a bit of a dweeb with technical things. My husband ribs me about it all the time because I work in a major manufacturing company that requires tons of detail oriented technical intelligence to run. The thing is though, the programs are already thought out pretty thoroughly and I just have to keep to the procedures.

I am thinking that maybe if I unsub and resub it might help, otherwise, if you know it's me then I won't worry about it. Any good suggestions?

Did you activate your account via the e-mail that is sent to you? Or, when you press the 'log in' button you could try hitting the 'I forgot my password' text and you should get an e-mail with your details. :)

    One more time mit FEELING

Annie, Annie Guest are now Ado_Annie, multiple personalities. Hope this works. I just decided to re-register with my other email address. It seemed easier than trying to figure out were I messed up.

Have you ever had dreams that stuck with you for a long time, if you closed your eyes you could bring the details back and feel as if you were there again?

I was reading Carlos Casten(spell)nada many, many years ago and came across the passage where the Yaqui Indian explains control dreaming. He says to tell yourself that in your dream you will raise your hands, palms up to your face and look at your hands.

In the dream I had my I raised my hands and they had been burnt and damaged in a war I had just fought. They were wrapped in smoky dirt stained bandages. When I looked at them again, I was in a hospital and I could tell that my fingers were maimed, scarred and some had bits missing. The nurse was trying to fit me with plastic finger tips, but I couldn't FEEL with them.

I held my hands up again and made my hands and fingers heal themselves. The power of this ability to heal myself in my dream has stayed with me ever since. In times of trouble and true adversity, I always bring back that image of my hands healing and somehow I find the strength to do what needs to be done.

I can often make myself immune to gases, poisons and the odd deadly virus by willing certain parts of my body to shut themselves down; or have some small length of blood vessel turn solid and close off at two ends, trapping a deadly toxin inside then removing it.

    Welcome Pompeyblue. :)

I've had epic dreams in the sense of continuing over more than one night, but I've never forced myself to have them. Maybe if you have a dream you'd like to continue, the following night, when you're in bed, before you fall asleep, try to visualize the events in the dream you had the night before.

That's your fault for being British and going to bed 5 hours before you're supposed to :)
