I watched a sort of horror film set in the trenches of WWI last night and couldn't stop thinking iamagoblin would love this; it's called Deathwatch, anyone else seen it? All the Germans kill each other with bayonets :fight:

I've heard of it but not got round to watching it yet. I saw the last samurai the other day, it was good but a bit slow. The best thing was all the lovely Japanese armour, crazy stuff.

I watched 'jeepers creepers 2' and 'bruce almighty' this weekend.
The former was mildly entertaining with a few good bits as i had expected ,while the latter had some genuinely funny laugh out loud moments but was mostly an american piece of moralistic testicles.
do you think i should write reviews for the observer? :?: :p

I've seen 'Bruce Almighty' too and thought pretty much the same as you, it was pretty funny but the storyline went along exactly the same route I thought it would.

Watched the The Italian Job the other night, it isn't a remake of the original and is ten times better than I thought it was going to be, with a nice shift in the story that keeps it interesting through to the end.

Not sure if I should watch that, I cry very easily. :)

I watched Red Dragon the other day, a prequel to 'Silence of the Lambs', which is pretty good but I preffered SOTL and 'Hannibal'.

To be honest, looking at the trailers, it looks like the kind of film that's right up your battlements anyway; bet you were sold as soon as you saw the first scene with hundreds, nay thousands, of armour clad, sword wielding loonies cheering for blood. How long do you have to wait for that anyway? :)
