I’ve rented a room somewhere and I’m supposed to be moving, but I haven’t moved yet. I go to the room, which is supposed to have a lock and a chain on it, and the chain has been broken and there’s a hole where the lock is supposed to be. I understand that the owner did this because they were told I was moving out, but now I can’t go back because it is unsafe, and I don’t have anywhere to live yet. My father (who in real life died over 10 years ago) says he will book me a room in a guest house temporarily so I have a place to stay. Someone who is supposed to be my grandfather (in real life both my grandfathers died before I was born) is also there.

Later, I’m in a kitchen with David Mitchell https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Mitchell_(comedian), and he is washing dishes. He takes one dish, dips it in soapy water for a second, then wipes a tiny section of it with a dishcloth and then puts the dish on a drying rack. I’m grossed out by his terrible dishwashing technique, but I decide not to say anything because he’s doing me a favor.

That's true. I wonder what David Mitchell represents in the dream? Weirdly, the dream contained three dead relatives of mine and my mother passed away 6 days after I made that post.
