I dreamt that all relatives are gathered around a table. There is a little girl sitting on the table. Everybody says that this little girl is my friend (my aunt does not know this friend of mine) when she was a baby. Some say it is her baby. This friend had a baby girl later. Then I see my aunt hiding behind a closet. I remark oh aunt is also here. She seems uncomfortable being spotted. I am not very close to this aunt and our relationship is cordial not warm. This dream sort of disturbed me because I saw my aunt. It seemed like she was watching me without my knowledge.

Do you ever feel that family matters seem to get in the way of your outside relationships? Or is there someone in your peripheral family circle who is going through a great amount of difficulty that you can't relate to and seems irrelevant to what's going on in your life?

The dream could also be related to a simple question that was posed to you regarding family history--either health history or if you were related to someone they knew.

reply to your answer to seeing my aunt

Family matters do not get in the way. I am not aware of problems that my peripheral family may be having. I am related to my aunt and distantly related to my friend. however, my aunt is not related to my friend and I am not aware of any health history

Seems I missed the mark on interpretation, so the next best thing I'd recommend would be to put yourself in the dream characters. The aunt that was uncomfortable of being spotted and wanted to hide in the closet yet was watching you and others in general---what was she hiding from? Why was she watching you? Go back in the dream in your mind and ask her these questions. Her answers will help reveal the dream's meaning.

The baby or little girl on the table---was she waiting for someone? Was she the topic of discussion around this table? If so, why? Go back to the dream and ask her. Her answers will help you figure out why she was there.

Relax and get comfortable and go back into the dream with your mind. Just imagine being back in the dream and then talk to the characters. You can still play the same role you did in the dream, which I assume was as the observer. Ask the characters who they are and what they want (what they are trying to tell you).

Dreams are a product of the subconscious and the dream characters are also a part of you.
