I'll tell ya what I remember. I was at a funeral and the body of my grandfather was laying on a table. I had the task of moving the body, so I and with the help of somone else picked the body up. It was not in a casket, we were carrying it with our hands. As we were moving the body I noticed a gaping wound coming from his neck. I was afraid his head was going to fall off. I remember looking up to all my family and friends with tears in my eyes, I was whispering "help help help help" as they all dropped there heads and looked at the floor. We continued carrying the body and safely placed it on a table with a baby blue cover that was too small for the table. Another weird thing, the building we were in was like a shopping mall. It was destitute, it didn't have any merchandise or shelving. When we moved the body, it was from one store front to another.

My grandfather died in Jan of 2002. I was 18 at the time and I was one of the pall bearers. I'm a divorced male with no children. I hope someone can make since of this because I just found it confusing.

I think this dream has something to do with feeling vulnerable. Carrying the body with a casket has to do with being unprotected. The wound in the neck makes me think of severing the connection between the body and the mind. Maybe the dream is a message that you need to stop ignoring your feelings or, conversely, that you need to be more rational.

Shopping has to do with choices, so the empty shopping mall has to do with not having any choices. (Maybe this has to do with being divorced and having no children.)
