I had a dream last night from which I only remember bits and pieces but it struck me as a very odd dream, from what I do remember. If anyone can help me analyze it, I would be most grateful.

I remember walking down a sidewalk barefoot and while looking at my feet and realizing I was in fact barefoot, I came across at least 5 coins along my path on the sidewalk; I remember seeing dimes, nickels and a penny.

In another part of a dream my mom was helping me get ready and pack to leave for somewhere and I remember JUST barely catching my train or bus to go wherever I was going; it was rather crammed in the train and I remember looking out the window and seeing either the beginning of winter as there was very very little blankets of snow on the grass or it was the end of winter, not sure. It was very gloomy and grey outside in the sky.

I then remember another part after my travels in which I ended up somewhere where my mom was [even though she had helped me pack and I seemed to have left her house] and wherever it was that I ended up, my boyfriend was there as well as my mom. I think I was going to see my boyfriend as being the point of my journey or trip. When I saw him he was very much clingy and drawn and attached to me but I seemed very distant, angry or detached. I feel as though I was upset with him for something he did to me and he was trying his best to make it up to me in anyway he could.

Then I woke up. Any insight into my dream would be appreciated, as I've looked up the meaning but can't gather what it all could pertain to in my waking life.

The first part of the dream seems to be a contrast between pacing yourself and moving too fast. At first, your on a path of walking and find treasures---in this case monies. You notice what the currency is. On the second path, your moving at a fast pace and fail to really notice your surroundings except that it's gray and gloomy.

Do you feel your are hurrying though life---through relationships (not taking time to really communicate or just talk) through school or work and not paying attention to details? Maybe it's a message to slow down and take your time.

The second part of the dream (like the train ride) reveals a feeling of being crowded. Your mom is always there and your boyfriend doens't give you any space. Do you feel you need more time and space to yourself?

Well, just as background information, I should mentioned that as of most recent [the last 2-3 weeks] communications between my boyfriend and I have been very tumultuous and basically non-existant [although not on my part, mostly due to his closing off from me without much of a reason] so I am very much in the dark right now. I FEEL like this dream had some insights to give me about the potential, present and future of our relationship but I still cannot get my head around what that insight is. My mom has been my primary source of comfort while I have been dealing with this circumstance with my boyfriend as well.

Any thoughts?
