Hello, I've new to this forum.

I'm a 15 year old girl, and just wanted to discuss why my dreams are so different. Most of the time, they are long adventures that involve creatures that don't exist, and on planets that aren't known to science. I am always in the eyes of the person who is involved in all the adventures. But it is never me, and the people they interact with are no one who i know. It's hard to get someone to understand. But they have completely random (but long) plots. I don't even understand how my mind comes up with all these things. The creation is magnificent, but never clear. They're always general blurry. They involve no daily life situations, nor people i know, NOR myself at all.

What does it mean exactly? I'm incredibly curious about why this happens almost every night for the past year or so

    This isn't unusual at all.

Lots of people have dreams like those.

Have a look at some of the dreams in the dream archive. Jonathan, who posted them, has very imaginative dreams in which he sometimes becomes someone else.

It just shows how amazing the human mind is, to be able to create these amazing dreams.

You are at an age where your body is changing a lot; you will be changing mentally as well as physically. It seems like your imagination and creative skills are beginning to develop.

Another possibility is that you move toward adulthood, you are behaving in a more serious, and less creative and playful way waking life - compared to when you were very young and you had imaginary friends and went on make-believe adventure - so your creative urges are being released in your dreams.

    Enjoy the ride

Sounds like fun! I say enjoy the ride. If you have interest in writing sci-fi or fantasy, write it all down. There are many writers who wish they had your problem. If you have a specific dream to share, or a recurring one in particular, I suggest you post that. It's the details and your feelings in the dream that are most helpful in interpretation. Background about what's going on in your life can be helpful too.
