Howdy everyone. I used to have bibilical dreams when I was little. and then everything started to stop for a god 10+ years. but here in the last couple of months the dreams have started up again. I do like to help others with dreams. some times I do help them, sometimes I fail big time. the dreams maybe starting up again because I am exploring outside of my christian roots. so to the dream I need help with. in the past couple of weeks I have been seeing shadows in the corner of my eye and sometimes in meditation. but I never let them get to me, cause I was like what can they do? well last night it was a strong presence. (I'm not going to lie if it was not for my wife in the bed with me, I would have been a good bit scared.) So I eventually went to sleep. I had a dream right when my wife left to go to work this morning. I dreamed there was a demon that past by in front of the TV. and I was trying to prove it to her. and she said there was no Demon. so then my wife went to the restroom and left the room. so I started screaming in the name of Jesus be gone. it felt good and seemed to have left. but the I went outside with my wife. and there was a lot of woods and vines around around us. well something ( I have no clue if it was a person, GOD, angel, etc.) gave me two stones. and I knew to throw them as far apart as possible and it would not bug me. the first stone I threw to my right and it went flying. then I told my wife to stay there and I was going to go to the left side of the house to throw the other rock that way. well I went to that side and there were statues of Adam and Eve. well I chucked the rock and all of a sudden Adam took life into the trees and vines around him and caught the rock (it detail: the edges around the black of his eyes turned green. then his eye brows had highlights of green. then his hair was highlighted green. and certain outlining along his arms and body were green. once the happened it was like that energy went into the vines that were tangled around him. so he was able to control the tree.) . the area with no green on him stayed the stone color. Well me and Adam talked and basically I was very upset with him and he did not care about me and said it had to stay with me. I was very upset with Adam. (he may have been sco9lding me). well I went storming off to find my wife. I ended up seeing my computer and it was on record and caught the demon in the room earlier. and then I woke up when I woke up one of my cats apparently was screaming at my door to try and come in. but she was screaming that scream like her foot was caught in something and she couldn't get out. so I ran to the door and opened it and she looked at me and was like ok I am not crying and just walked off. it made me wonder if she knew what was going on, or if I was talking in my sleep and she was trying to wake me up. (but the cats in my room were passed out in the bed). as I wrote this dream out I got freaked out. what does Adam mean? (I read that Adam represents a change in faiths.) what does the two stones mean? and why is this presence getting stronger? Thank you.
I'm not sure exactly what you mean when you say you are exploring outside your Christian roots, but it seems that your religion is very important to you (since you had biblical dreams all the way back when you were little) and this new exploration is causing you a lot of stress. This could have to do with why you have decided to explore outside your Christian roots - your decision could have had to do with an incident that is very troubling to you. Cats are very good at sensing when something is wrong, so it is very likely that your cat sensed that something with you was not right when you were sleeping. On the other hand, is it possible that you only thought you heard your cat scream? It's not unusual to hallucinate just when you are waking up. Seeing shadows in the corner of your eyes and the presence being stronger is possibly related to being stressed and in a hypervigilant state. Are you worried that something bad might happen to you since you started exploring outside your religion? Your own fears could be making you see things. That could also explain why the demon appeared in your dream. I think your wife in your dream represents a part of you that is trying to calm you down and relax, the part that is trying to protect you from all the harm that the stress is causing you. In waking life, does she tend to be a calm, relaxed person who knows how to handle problems without panicking too much. The part with Adam and Eve could have to do with you questioning your past and the beliefs you had in your past, since they were supposed to have been the first people. Your anger at Adam could be anger at yourself and at what you have been led to believe. Adam coming alive could have to do with thoughts that you have kept repressed now surfacing. There is also the association of Adam and Eve with knowledge. Why do you think the stones might be an important symbol in the dream?
i think the dream may have something to do with a demonic or supernatural presence in your house. i have a few ghosts (if that is what you want to call them) that live in my room. most of my dreams are based around them. this one girl that lives in my room that i talk to, i dream about protecting her in an orphans home. i have another sort of bodyguard spirit that i dream about also. there very well may be a spirit in your home that is trying to make contact with you on how it died. maybe it needs you to talk to it? maybe needs help crossing over? it is clear that there may very well be a spirit in your home that is lost, confused, or needs help
I don't think I'd worry about the demon too much. I think that's a pretty common occurrence in dreams, especially those of us who are christian. But the Adam thing is pretty cool. Especially because there was so much detail involved. Do you usually dream in that amount of detail or was this dream particularly vivid?
I'm not dismissing the notion of the paranormal. I know first hand that it is very real, but when something of paranormal nature does happen there will be absolutely no doubt in your mind that something extraordinary just happened. IMO, the feeling of sense some sort of unseen presence is that person scaring themselves. In all my experiences with the paranormal things just happen out of nowhere, and they've never felt threatening in any way. They really just leave you in awe. I'd say that there's a 99.9% chance that you've got yourself all psyched out because you've recently been exploring a little outside of what you've been told you whole life. Guilt and scare tactics are a large part of biblical teachings, so its really easy to get the ole' imagination going. Hell, as a kid i thought that listening to a certain rock band (that my c--t of a mother hated) had let satan into my life and he turned me gay. Dudes never have made my ding dong wiggle, so it was all a bunch of BS pounded into my brain since the day I could speak. It's completely cool to look around outside your faith, and there's no friggin demon stalking you for it. So sleep a little better at night and keep being open-minded my friend.
