Hi I'm new to the forum and want to give an outline of what my dreams are about.

Since I was little, I would have these dreams about monsters. Sometimes at first the dream would be normal, then the monster shows up; it could be someone turning into a monster (mostly my mom or it comes from somewhere else in the dream. These I have had all my life.

Another type of dream I had is what I call a free rooming dream. In these dreams there is nothing particularly bad or good about the dream, they just seem like a normal dream. These I have had all my life.

The last type of dreams I have is what I call unfinished business dreams. In these dreams something has to get done and for some strange reason I just can't get it done.

I also have what they call sleep paralysis, but I feel it is a little different.

Sometimes I will wake up into another dream only to fine out I'm still dreaming until I finally wake up.

These all of these dreams are sometimes lucid; I am aware that I'm dreaming.

    Part 2

In my false awaking dreams there can be monsters, free rooming, and incomplete tasks, or all in different combinations. In these dreams I my not be aware at first, but eventually I am.

They say during the sleep paralysis, the person has not fully awaken and that accounts for the person not being able to move the body except for the eyes. As for me though I can feel my body, but It feels like intense gravity is holding me down. My eyes are heavy and I can barely speak, but I can feel my body and don't feel like something is choking me. I will go back to sleep if I don't fight it. If I do fight it; I some up all my strength and get out of it.
This thing usually happens when I get out of a scary dream or when in the dream I know something is about to happen and either I wake up on purpose or I just wake up.

    Part 3

When I was younger; I couldn't move when a monster came in my dream, my body would freeze, but when the monster would get to me I would wake up. Sometimes I could move, but I would be too constricted. Also to, when the monster would arrive and some people were with me, they would all of a sudden be gone. Now In these dreams I can move and fight the monster, but its still hard, because the monster is still strong or unable to get hurt even though I'm beating the s$#@ out it. Other times when I want to run I can with good speed. One thing I do like is everybody who was there before the monster came is still there and if they don't run with me, they are left behind (I always think its funny after I wake up). Now if my mom comes in the dream she doesn't turn into a monster.

In the free rooming dreams I can fly a little bit , but not like I want to.

Still in the unfinished business dreams I still can't complete the goals.

    Very interesting.

It's common for little kids to have monster dreams, although I, personally, don't remember ever having any.

The fact that you seem to be more powerful in your monster dreams now than when you were young probably has to do with the fact that you know more about the world and have more control over your life and the things in your environment.

The dreams where I'm able to run from the monster are a little mysterious. I don't really see them as monsters, but powerful beings. They don't look scary in the same sense as a monster; they look like something that has been awaken from a long time ago. In these dreams I'm able to get away. These are the dreams where I'm not alone. I fight the monster, but these guys are different. I do believe these dreams are my subconsciousness playing out my thoughts, emotions, feelings, etc.

What I meant by unfinished business is just something that I have to complete and just can't get it done for whatever reason; however, in a dream that I had last night I finally did complete something. I was suppose to get to a bus like car that was my grandmother's. I got in trouble with the police in the dream and had to get out of trouble. I got out of trouble in time to get the bus back and my grandmother didn't find out about it. After that some other people that I know and I started singing songs. Then I woke up. I said "Finally I finished something in a dream. I don't know what this means though.

I only had two of those being dreams that I can remember. These dreams are new to me. I've been told I'm a complex person. Maybe that's why my dreams are complex too.

I don't feel as if I forgot anything. I'm sorry I put this at the bottom, but I had to go back answer your question fully
