Sup guys. This isn't really me looking for help or anything, just thought it was neat, and wanted to share. (Feel free to offer comments) -creature with red face (kind of like “darth maul”) came to my house. (This wasn’t a star wars dream.) Creature has characteristics of a vampire or a demon. Creature can fly, has superpowers, etc. I reference vampire, because it wanted me to “be like him”. It came to offer powers, but, I don’t think I would be able to stay here living my life. The creature isn’t necessarily a “demon” per sey, just a mythical creatures with fantastic powers. I will hence refer to creature as “demon”. Seemed very nice, relatively benevolent. I wasn’t outright scared of the creature, but I knew it could overwhelm me easily or “make me disappear” if it wanted. (Remember, I’m relatively hardass, so, the creature may not seem benevolent to some. But me? I’m a tough guy.) Had super natural powers of some kind. They wanted me to be like them – they were there to recruit me into their kind. The demon showcased evidence of its prevalent existence, in addition to knowledge of power. I forget precisely what the demon presented as evidence.. (Told me stories) I had thoughts like “I like being human.” – I addressed other concerns. “I wish I can have the best of both worlds.” (I wish I had the dialogue of this discussion. Memories are fading.) I didn’t want to disappoint the creature. I was hesitant to answer them. I knew things would never be the same. I also knew they could totally own me if they wanted. But, right now, I don’t think it would. But, I didn’t want to “insult” the creature by not accepting its offer. (What a significant decision I have to make.) My parents interrupted - came home into my house. (This is the first dream ever with the interior of my new home. Double checking, yes, the dream is in my new home.) The demon cleverly hid its presence from parents. This is a sign of benevolence. I showed my trust for the demon, by putting my back to him casually as I addressed the parents. Was this a mistake? – I’m not sure why I put myself between demon and parents, and furthermore put my back to the creature. It seemed evident that the creature was capable of hiding itself. Perhaps I wanted to make “note” that I trusted the demon by putting my back to it. The creature showcased that it was capable of benevolence – I knew it didn’t “have” to hide, though it was catering to my desire to protect my parents from its presence. I could see the creature from the corner of my eye, while nobody else could. (Clever demon, strategically elite) I never got around to giving demon an answer. I don’t think this is the first time I’ve had this dream. (Maybe) I wonder how the demon would have reacted to my negative reaction, “I appreciate your offer, but I prefer to live this life.” – or “I appreciate your offer, I’d like to proceed.”¬¬ I wish I could remember more details. Memories are fading fast. I’m glad I wrote this down. Back to earth, this reminds me of many situations in my life where people offer me something valuable, but I am hesitant to answer. I have a difficulty making decisions in life. I typically prefer to have others make my decisions for me. I’m much more comfortable seeking approval of others during major decisions. (I have a few major decisions to make in my life now, 2 of which I was pondering today.) PS: Many decisions were offered by “powerful” people with life changing impact. Just like my dream, I am always hesitant to answer, and “want be best of both worlds.”
Well, there's a theory that all the characters in your dream are really parts of you, so maybe this dream is saying that you are powerful and can make your own decisions.
I like that. Makes sense... (The dream I had after that was even weirder. Lol. Totally different.) Thanks!
Dear deltaecho, The dream you had is one to be taken seriously not lightly. Inviting demonic or evil forces into your life is nothing to play around with. Ive had a similar experience such as yours where I was offered powers by a group Of vampires. When I awakened, I could feel the presence of evil in my room. I verbally said no because I knew that these forces of darkness were wanting me to allow them into my life. Remember, in movies vampires can only come in if you let them. They promise power and pleasure but only bring destruction and ruined lives. Do not invite this evil into your life. Say no, and tell it to go away. This was a real demonic encounter. It us not your friend. Do not believe it's lies. Choose light over darkness.
