it was 11 pm at night, i was in a trance or half awake half asleep mode, and i was laying in bed under my douna, i felt a presence over my body (cold presence) the bed i was laying on started to sink and shake, i started to feel the bed move.i was laying still in fear then the douna was like being pulled off the bed. i couldn't move it was like someone has tied me up to the bed and put pressure on me, i started to pray to god in my head, after i prayed to god, after that i heard voices saying: daemon occi i saw a man at the right side of my bed he was a shadow and walking around then he turned to look at me and he then disappeared.
This sounds very much like sleep paralysis. Hallucinations about a presence in the room and a feeling of being restrained and being held down are common with sleep paralysis. "daemon occi" sounds like "Evil Eye". Do you come from a cultural background where people talk about an Evil Eye?
Hmm. Have you ever heard of the term Evil Eye before? Not that you have to believe in it. Does "daemon occi" sound like anything else to you? Maybe I am hearing Evil Eye in it because that is part of my culture's superstitions. I don't believe in it, though. Overall, though, the dream sounds like a classic case of sleep paralysis.
That's pretty creepy. It reminds me of the time I woke up from a nightmare and couldn't move for about 10 seconds. Other times I would wake up, in control of my actions, but I might hear a word or two leak out from my dream. It's pretty rare though.
I talk in my sleep. Other people have heard me. Sometimes I wake up and I am saying the last words of whatever I was talking about in my dream.
Sleep Paralysis I have never felt another presence when I experienced sleep paralysis, but I did have one time where I was not able to move anything but my eyes for almost ten minutes. I know it took that long for my body to realize I was awake because I could see my clock. I always assumed that I had put undo pressure on my spine with my sleeping position, and it just took that long for the nerves to get the message through. I can tell you that the experience was rather frightening.
I doubt if sleeping on your back is enough to cause a significant change in the speed of nerve impulses through your spine. There is a theory, however, that the reason that sleep paralysis most commonly happens when you are on your back is that it is related to tonic immobility. This is an involuntary response that a prey animal has when a predator places it on its back - it automatically becomes paralyzed so the predator may think it is dead and leave it alone.
I have a similar experience when i was younger...I've since found out that I had an OUT OF BODY EXPERIENCE..this happens more often then people realize, within each of us there is a SOUL and our souls travel in our sleep, we are not aware of this of course until an experience like you described happens,an yes sometimes you will hear Auditory Voices along with it...scary but quite normal
