I have had this dream for a week now. I dream that my girlfriend is getting raped by her boyfriend that she has at the moment. What could this mean?

Maybe you still have feelings for her and think that she's not happy with her current boyfriend or there's something that you sense about this guy that doesn't seem right or doesn't seem good. Maybe try to talk to her to see if she's ok or maybe you just think she'll be better off with you instead of some other guy. Do you have feelings for her still? Do you talk to her?

Did you realize you said girlfriend instead of ex-girlfriend in your post?

Haha so I did, well that explains it then :D

Well I don't know. It has been a very very long time since we went out. I do know I am not found of this guy at all but im just confused on why it has to be rape? Maybe because it gives me more of a reason to not like him?

I think what this dream is supposed to be telling you is that you need to consider her feelings for a change. Since rape can be looked upon as one's selfish need to assert their own dominance, coupled with the fact that you still refer to her as your girlfriend, the boyfriend could very well be you in disguise. My advice? Try to be a good friend. Nothing more though. There are plenty more fish in the sea.

VyseTheLegend, thank you that makes perfect sense. I have been thinking about my own needs a lot so I should stop doing that. I just have to accept it now and move on me thinks.

I think we've all had a recurring dream concerning someone close to us so you're not alone. I used to have recurring dreams about my father and some old friends. I never had much of a good relationship with my father until I opened up to him more and the dreams went away. I mean, no one says it's going to be easy, but in your case, moving on by letting her move on with her life should help clear things up for you.
