I've been having a recurring dream. It wouldn't bother me much, but I've had dreams predict events a couple times before. I dreamed my cousin died before it happened. I also dreamed that I got a DUI the night before it happened. I remember waking up thinking it's only a dream then getting sucked back into the dream. I got a DUI that afternoon.

My family's planning a trip to London. About a month ago I had a dream that the plane crashed. Then the dream happened again. In the second dream I also saw credit cards and felt like I didn't need to be as concerned with money, which is something I didn't think I was concerned with. In that dream there were these weird beings and when they touched me I received some message, although I can't remember what it was. When they touched me they put me in a trance and I understood. It really started to freak me out/bother me after a while. Recently I had another dream that I wanted to or needed to tell my mom about the plane crash dreams (I had already told her before that). In that same dream I was in London. Some of it was weird in a way that only dreams can be weird.

So I'm not sure what to do. I need to let my parents know soon if I'm going. I did a google search and it said that plane crash dreams represent someone being over ambitious. I am making straight A's and I plan on going to law school. I don't know if that could be it either. I'm interested to hear your thoughts.

statisticly speaking most people who dream of plane crashes are dealing with anxiety. but when you said something about premo dreams i got me interested so i'll ask you to check my thread on premo dreams an do the poll.

Yes, I agree with PattiZ that this could have to do with anxiety. Even if you are getting straight As and going to law school, that doesn't mean that you aren't anxious. In fact, you probably have more of an anxious personality than people who coast through school/college with average grades - I speak from experience :)

About the previous premonitions you mentioned:

Was your cousin ill before he or she died? Could you have noticed, unconsciously that your cousin was taking a turn for the worse just he or she died, and this showed up in your dream? Or could your cousin have been behaving recklessly just before he or she died and your unconscious was pointing out that she could get herself killed? Or did your cousin just die suddenly and unexpectedly?

The DUI dream was a self-fulfilling prophecy. You dreamed that you got drunk, drove and got arrested. Then you went out and got drunk, drove and got arrested. Acting out the dream - drinking and driving, was your own choice. Once you did that, it was only natural for a cop to come along and arrest you. The dream came true because you made it come true.

How far away are you from London? Do you have a fear of traveling on planes?

Money in a dream can represent something valuable, not necessarily money itself, so the credit card dream could mean that you are placing too much value on something in your life, that you are worrying about something to much. It doesn't have to be money that you are worrying about.

I'm a lot less worried about dieing in a plane crash than I was. I think yall were right. I do have some anxiety about what to do. My grades aren't bad for the most part, but the LSAT needs some work. My dream job would be playing in a rock band, but that's such a longshot. I took a legal issues in the arts class this semester and you realize how musicians are taken advantage of on so many levels. For a while I abandoned rock, but some friends kind of got me to play again. I'd like to play in a band but I don't want to mess up my grades. I guess finding a balance will be key.
