So over the past two nights I have had dreams of my best friend dying. The first time he was murdered and it was my fault, I wasn't the one that killed him but we had a slight argument over his girlfriend and he stormed out of the house to get away from me then was taken and murdered. Then last night I had a dream that I was pregnant and in labor. I was at the hospital with these people that were supposedly my friends and was thinking to myself that I wish my best friend could be there with me but I knew he couldn't because he was dead. Anyone have any thoughts on why I keep dreaming of him dying? It just really is starting to bother me. Thanks for your time and help. =]
It wasn't your fault. Not at all. If you pray and ask God to forgive you, even though it wasn't your fault, then you will feel better. You will see.
To add to those two dreams I had another one last night. I was in a wedding dress shop looking at wedding dresses, not because I was getting married, or because someone else I knew was but just looking at them to take pictures to draw them (I have been drawing fabric a lot in my drawing class lately). But in the dream I was still pregnant, only I was no where close to being in labor this time, I was only a few months pregnant, not even really showing yet. But in this dream I knew who the father of the baby was and it was my best friend's baby, who was still dead.
Death in a dream often has to do with a change - the idea that something has to end so something new can begin. Is there anything about your friend that is changing? Pregnancy in a dream can also have to do with the beginning of something new.
Our entire relationship has changed over the past ten months or so. Ever since he started dating his current girlfriend things have been changing. For a while things were just the way they had always been, then he slowly started to change slightly and when I confronted him about it after holding it in for over a month when I tell him everything he got very mad at me and didnt talk to me for a little over two weeks before he apologized. Then recently [within the past three weeks] he found out that I have feelings for him, since I finally admitted it to myself after having feelings for him for about two years now, and I guess its just the whole not knowing how he really is truly feeling about it since I cant see him to know. Its hard because hes six hours away from me at school and we've never been apart for more than a week until now. So yea, things have changed.
