I’m sitting on a dark shaded veranda on a lawn swing with my husband beside me. It’s a hot sunny day and I am happy to enjoy the day and not be too hot. We are talking about selling the house and I have mixed feelings. Then I look down at a table and some small garden snakes had crawled into this thing on the table. I flip out and run to go back in the house. I’m now thinking, yes, sell the house! My son who is about 5 yrs. Old in my dream is ahead of me and I am yelling at him to go faster. We get to the side of the house and I look down into a hole and see more snakes. Then as I am looking up I see a 4 ft snake on the sidewalk coming my way. I feel panic and wake-up.
In the Garden of Eden, the snake was the tempter, the one who said that eating from the tree would not cause you to die but you'd have knowledge. Perhaps this symbol is trying to convince you to sell the house.
My son turns 9 this month. And I definitely don't want to sell my house in real life. We are not even thinking of selling it. Thanks for your interest.
That really takes it in a totally different direction. 4 years ago we sold our old house and moved into the house we are living in now. It was an intense time of learning in my marriage. I didn't know if we were going to make it. After we moved in I was very honest and confrontational (which I really try to avoid doing) with my husband over something I saw and it was the start of us slowly turning our lives around. It took time but now I am so grateful that it happened. It is what got me so interested in the unconscious mind and the power it has that my career and personal life has changed direction totally. With this in mind perhaps some new awareness might pop up.
