I have had this dream several times. It scares me to death every time I have it. In this dream, I am asleep when suddenly a friend that is in the bed with me (don't really know where this comes from or who it is.) screams for me saying, "Liz, help me, its killing me!" I try to get up to help her but I can't because something invisible is holding me down. So I try to scream for someone else in the house to come help us but my voice doesn't work. I can't even turn my head to see whats hurting my friend. If you have any idea of what this may mean, please let me know.

This sounds a bit like sleep paralysis, which can be accompanied by scary hallucinations, like your friend shouting "Help me!" and a feeling of something holding you down.
