Hey! I need help with a dream. You see, it's not a dream of mine, but one a friend had a long time ago. I know, this "my friend's, not mine" is an overused cliché, but I am not lying, it wouldn't make sense, as the dream could be misinterpreted, and I would like your help in figuring it out, please. A quick intro to "us". Her name's Daniella, she's Italian born and now lives in the States. We met playing poker online and ever since became good friends. We've Skyped a few times, and we agreed to meet face to face sometime in the near future. She has dark and twisted interests, like wearing blazing red hair, or her mad love for katanas and blood, or symphonic metal music, that kind of twisted. She's not emo or goth, for the record. Inside that obscure shell lies the sweetest, most caring, mature, and intelligent person I have ever known. Gotta be honest with you. I fell in love with her. And she does not look bad at all. Unfortunately, it does not come back. She clearly told me that I was the complete opposite of the guy she'd physically desire, although I am not sure if that also applies to my personality. Now, I've told you about her, about us, now here you go. The dream. Daniella and her parents were sitting on the couch, watching a home made movie. It was from her trip to Colombia, my home country. The environment changed, she shifted into the movie, but also was acting as the narrator. She had told her parents that they would go to my house, to fix her car, as she told them. It was our plan, since we had previously discussed it on the phone. She was very, very excited to meet me at last. When she got to my house, it was on a narrow street, and the house was white. There were black iron stairs leading to my front door. She flew out of the car and reached my front door, madly banging it. So, I opened the door, and she saw me and froze. I had magically become the type of guy she physically adores and dreams of (lol), and madly began to kiss me, pushing me against the wall. I pushed her away and let out a nervous laugh. She then asked me why did I look like that, and I told her I had no idea. Her parents caught up, and we all sat on my living room. She sat next to me. Now, I was directly explaining to Daniella everything related to cars, and every five minutes or so she would stop me to kiss me. After a while, her dad notices this and sat between us, so I called my friend, Roberto, to take him away and show him car parts. By this time, her mom had mysteriously vanished. We were alone again. I took Daniella by the hand and led her to the front door. I opened it, it was already night. We left my house and began to take a walk. And she woke up. All I could figure out on my own is that holding hands with someone indicates loneliness and need of a special one to love, the rest, I have no idea. So, I would greatly thank you if you could please interpret this dream. Perhaps it could tell me something I've been dying to know about Daniella once and for all! Thanks a lot in advance.
I think that in Daniella's dream she might be coming to the realization, unconsciously, that you might be the right person for her. The fact that in waking life she says you are the "exact opposite" of what she desires physically sounds like she may be protesting too much, trying to convince her that the two of you shouldn't have more of a relationship. Usually, if aren't attracted to someone, you just say something like "you're not my type" or "I like you, but not in that way", but you don't use the phrase "exact opposite." Are you interested in cars in real life? Is that something that you would really talk about?
Well, she's told me all three of them. "You're not my type", "I don't like you in that way", and "You're the exact opposite". And yeah, I like cars, and she knows it. More info to help: my favorite cars are the Lamborghini brand cars, and I actually like, or would like, to tune them, paint them, customize them, etc. And yeah, we have talked about cars before. I would talk about cars in real life. You see, she's pretty complex and mysterious. One moment she greatly hints that someday we could be involved romantically, and the next day she cuts my hopes dry. She's played with my feelings before, and that's why I'm afraid to eventually make a move. Thanks for the help, Marcia.
