Last night I had a dream where I was with some people who were taken by scavengers. They had this convenience store type setup out in a field and they demanded we grab certain objects. i wasn't listening because I was in the body of a little boy (I am 21 and female) while my real body was over with the strangers. I kept wanting to get to my real body. So the scavengers said go and I just grabbed a bunch of metal things. When they said stop I brought it over to them. By then I was myself again. While they were counting I decided to run for it. I don't remember much after that but I do remember talking to someone by a gassy pond and falling against a cement wall. I scrapped my gold ring against it (which I have in real life). The stone came out and the bottom broke off. I tried to put it back in the ring but it wouldn't work. At one point I held it up to the light to make sure it was my stone. It looked like a diamond when it is supposed to be citrin. I finally turned yellow and I was happy. But it was still broken.
do you feel that other people may be forcing you to do something that you don't feel is right, like you were being forced to steal in dream? Do you feel that you are being made to behave in a way that isn't natural to you (female in a boy's body)? The stone not fitting in the ring and looking like a diamond when it's supposed to be something else could also has to do with you feeling that you don't fit in or that you aren't being yourself.
That is actually what threw me. I don't feel out of place. Just different. I have taken some new steps in my life. After some thought I believe the ring represented my best friend, who had recently told me she was getting married. I believe that she is making a bit of a mistake, not because the love isn't there but because she hasn't seen what she can do in the world. That seems to fit into your interpretation. Thank you very much for your reply
Well, taking new steps in life means having to get used to new roles in life. The ring could definitely happen to do with your friend's marriage, especially the part where the stone looks like a diamond.
