Around five years ago I had a dream that was very profound and vivid. I'd like to know what others interpretation of its meaning might be. After a night of deep meditation I dreamt the following:

It starts out that I am jumping across a forest of pillars suspended in the air. I jump from one to the other as if searching for something. I then find a human eye lying on one of the pillars. Without hesitation I pick it up and place it against my forehead in between my two eyes. It attaches itself to my forehead, creating a third eye right above my nose. When it came into place it did not hurt and I could not see from it. Immediatly after I was on the ground and I heard my mother calling my name. As soon as she ran to me she asked if I was alright. I then calmly told her that I was alright and that everything would be ok. I was then transported to a large mounatin covered in forest. I stood at the bottom looking up at a dirt path running straight up the mounain to the summit. Then without realizing it I found myself at the summit, looking down the mounain, to the valley beyond. I was at the top only a moment, when the one thing I can't interpret myself happens. It was like the mountain was erupting only nothing was destroyed, but just as intense. It was a great eruption of energy coming from within the mountain. It spread to overtake the whole mountain, myself, and the valley.

That is where my dream ends. I'd like to hear other's interpretation, to see how it differs from my own. If you need any more details ask.

I am curious what kind of meditation you do and if there is a religious or spiritual aspect to it, or to your life in general.

Some of the symbols in your dream have meanings in non-western religions/philosophies, for example the third eye, mother (mother goddess), mountain/volcano.

The meaning of the symbols in your dream would depend on what they mean to you personally.

I wouldn't be able to tell the kind of meditation. The focus was on the true meaning of love. I came to the conclusion that true love was not, as in western sense, romantic relations between individuals, but extrinsic connections between all things.

Since then I've been drawn to the eye and pyramid symbol. I've developed my own symbology for it relating to my dream, one that very much differs from conspiracy theorists.

You didn't say anything about a pyramid in your dream.

How do you think the eye and pyramid symbol relates to your dream?

The pyramid represents the mountain, the one eye is the third eye.

    That makes sense.
