Hi i'm new first post, had crazy dream.. here goes:

Working my normal job, but seemed to be doing a different job in a different area all day (I work on a moving train all day). Dont remember everything. My boss was messing with me and I remember picking up a gigantic super soaker and shooting him in the back as he ran away. Alot of other things happened, but I cannot recall any of them. A very hot blonde came to me sitting down and straddled me on the seat, kissing me at times. She was wearing a West Virginia hoodie (I am in Ohio). I asked who she was and she told me that I know her. She said that she was in love with me and I asked her how I knew her. She said that she had done this same thing to me before. She said that she spies on me at work through a hunting scope, from West Virginia. I asked her to stay but she was off quickly.

Must have been parked at a group home with alot the people I went to high school with and my brother in law. Came back to my car from working with 2 guys, who apparently I drove in that day. New car is moved and someone (laughed and told me) told me they moved it, dont know why. My co-workers are gone and the consiracy begins. I ask the 3 people (dont know them) working the desk and they all have no idea what is going on. I go searching for my car in a big parking lot by clicking my button. See one at the end of the row that is same color and has same wing type. I get to it and my clicker works on it but it is a crazy 2-seater sports car. Some black man comes up to me and says that it is his car. I am confused.

I go inside to a room with 10 guys in it. My brother in law and a couple other guys are looking out a window and I ask what happened to my car. He knows but he does not want to tell me. Everybody knows, but nobody wants to tell me. 2 guys are shouting and about to fist fight by the bed. A guy from high school (completely random person I was never good friends with) yells at the one guy I know better, that he is wrong.. but those 2 are friends. Cant remember who the oher guy was, but older and I did know him from high school.

I walk outside to have a cigarette and walk away from the house (which looks like a house in my childhood neighborhood from the outside). I turn around and see a white plane that looks like a spaceship with a gigantic red bomb on it (bigger than the plane), looks like something from 'Acme'. I realize it is an atomic bomb (I guess) and run like hell as it hits the ground, exploding outwards. I run faster and faster, as if pressing a button in a video game to gain super fast legs. I see the explosing coming towards me and I seem to be outrunning it. Dream ends.

This is not the first dream of my outrunning an atomic bomb. I guess that is the most important part and I have no idea what this is all about. Thanks!

    wow, that's I wild dream

There are a few different schools of thought in dream interpretation. I am not qualified to analyze dreams in any way but I have read much on the subject, at least as far as the psychologist Carl Gustav Jung is concerned. But before I attempt an ametuer analysis of your dream I will describe some of the schools of thought behind dream analysis...

    1) Direct symbolism: In this school of thought a symbol ALWAYS means one thing, example: a fish always means unwillingness or a lost tooth always means "loss of power". Not a very interesting method, though this is the stuff which inspires those "dream dictionaries" and such

    2) Freudean: This is all based on repressive tendencies of the ego, especially in regards to sexuallity. In Freud's view anything remotely resembling a falic symbol represents a penis (like your super-soaker perhaps). Again this method, while better that direct symbolism, is flawed and sometimes laughable.

    3) Jungian: A collegue of Freud's, he has the most interesting way of interpreting dreams I've found yet. In his interpretation all other people you meet in your dreams are either complexes (like a mother complex) or aspects of self like ego or archetypal forms. I will attempt a Jungian analysis of your dream, since it seems that no one here really posts replies....

So I will only interpret the areas where I feel confident in my Jungian analysis abilities. The blonde could represent the "unknown woman" which could symbolize your "anima" or your "feminine side". This interpretation makes sense in that you, being male, have distanced yourself from your feminine side-- she is across the state line-- though you still are perhaps somewhat aware of your feminine aspect. (ie. she said that you knew her). In Jungian analysis, when a male has a dream about an "unknown woman" that is always his feminine side. Is any of this accurate? It doesn't have to be... I am really just making an attempt here.

In modern Jungian interpretation a car also represents "the ego" or your self-image. And a group of men could symbolize your masculine side.... a group of men is the "animus" or masculine side. A figure of differing race (ie black) who is of the same gender (ie male) could represent the shadow, or the aspects of yourself that are parts of yourself but you are inclined not to own up to them, thus they are not usually desirable to associate with the ego. Perhaps the black man coming up to "your" car (your clicker works on it!) and claiming ownership, is your dark-half (as I said before your "shadow") having a sort of ego all of its own. Do you have a dark side?

As for the atomic bomb part, I suggest you look up the Jungian concept of pleroma, as it could be the symbol being related here. Also as far a psychology is concerned the last part could concern many complexes. The cigarette (oral fixation) makes sense couple with your childhood home. The oral stage occurs early in life. Perhaps your inner child has survived some disasterous external event. Really because I don't know you I can't really interpret your dream, but maybe you can see for yourself if any of the lines I'm drawing are real or merely incorrect educated guesses. Sorry for any misspellings I have no time to type this.

    Peace.
