4-8-08 I'm living in a crappy room in a seedy hotel. My sister is a desk clerk here (and she really is a desk clerk in reality, but in a very nice hotel.) She is getting a regular visitor; an Egyptian prince. Although he is married to the royal family's daughter, my sister continues to see him and he brings her gifts. I learn that his wife learns of the relationship and threatens that if he doesn't stop seeing my sister, they will kill her family---in other words, me and everyone else in my family! mg: I confront her in my living room and we're sitting on the couch, which is old and tattered. I tell her she must stop seeing him and she hides something between her legs---a gift? I yell, "You're having an affair with him, aren't you? You must leave town at once or we're all dead!" She shows no signs that she's willing to stop seeing him. end In real life, my sister is in an on and off again relationship with the same man for years. He is Italian but also looks Egyptian.
Hey Mal, good to hear from you! Her real boyfriend can be a "royal" pain in the ass sometimes, but for the most part, me and my family get along with him. But no, my sister is not a drain on the family at all, but a huge asset. She's really smart and my mother and I depend on her to drive us long distances such as when our dad was in a hospital 100 miles away. Going back and reading this dream again, I think it may in part be about presidential candidate Hillary Clinton. Barack Obama has pretty much wrapped up the party's nomination, but she is staying in the race all the way to the convention and most people think (including me) that this will create more division in the party than unite it. I think the reality of it should read "she shows no signs that she's willing to stop running."
Hi, I do pop in now and again but I'm very busy, in fact I actually moved the server this site is on from Georgia to New York without anyone noticing last weekend. I think dreams are a lot easier to analyze yourself if you write them down and go back to them, that's why it is so good to write them down. I write mine down in a book by hand, then transfer what I've written to the site when I get the time, usually in big blocks of up to two weeks or so, depending on how lazy I've been. I've actually just gone past the 5 year mark for recording my dreams, every day for 5 years! I started on May 9th 2003, and I still remember the first dream as clear as if I had it just last night. It's very odd looking it it now though, especially as it mentions a secret bunker I have in my dreams because I dreamed about how it was first made, for the first time just a few weeks ago.
I read your dreams and noticed that May was missing and wondered what happened. It's good to know it was only because you were busy. I didn't notice the server transfer either. Thanks for having this forum for all dreamers. It's appreciated!
Thanks, I've been meaning to upgrade the message board part for a while now so members can have their own dream diaries online, public or private for friends only, and all sorts of other ideas. I'll do it one of these days.
