I'm driving down the road and see a huge open bus pass me on the right while another open bus comes up on the left. Men resembling Islamic militants in each bus fire upon each other. I see bodies go limp and slump in their seats and I'm afraid that they have taken their crazy beliefs and fighting into the United States.

I arrive at a house to get away and go in just as another car pulls up. They are what you call "white trash" and they come in to the house after me holding whiskey bottles. I figure they are at least better company than the militants shooting at each other outside and I decide to join them and have a couple of shots of booze. I find I really like the taste of whiskey.

The woman who owns the house is being lectured to by her daughter who doesn't like all these strangers in her house with their unscrupulous ways. The woman is shaking her head and talking about Christian charity. I realize I can't stay and wonder how I can get home without being caught in a cross fire.

Once in a while I will have a dream about things falling from the sky, but not as often as I used to. Part of it is I haven't been as focused on capturing dreams. I'm slowly trying to get back into it. I often dream of current events and the images are often disturbing and weird. I don't mind though, it sure beats boring dreams which seems to be the norm for me right now.

The scene shows a situation in which you are following a losing course of action when using your rationale or way of thinking. (driving down the road) Here the way of thinking seems to pertain to the issue of Islamic militants or terrorists. Using your thoughts pertaining to such terrorists, you appear to be using a way of thinking that most people would tend to think. (militants in buses). Here your thinking focuses upon Islamic militants bringing their crazy beliefs and fighting into the United States. As the two buses involved pass you, one to the right and one to the left, it indicates that this kind of thinking needs to be seen for the right and especially for the wrong of it. The open buses suggest that where your mind is open to the Lord’s intelligence, your thoughts regarding militants could focus upon them fighting among themselves – not Americans. Note that the dead and dying in this scene are Islamic. Using your thinking about Islamic militants you are letting your mind get ahead of you. (buses pass you)

You appear to be seeking the protection of an established mental attitude. (arrive at a house) Here this is a way of thinking that is willing to entertain ideas reflecting those of people considered “white trash”, suggesting those who are poor, lazy and ignorant, and as seen here, probably more interested in drinking than in politics and ideologies. In this situation this seems preferable to being focused upon a way of thinking involving Islamic militants. When using this type of mental attitude, the True Self finds that a thirst for ideas that are not spiritual in nature can be quite appealing. (like the taste of whiskey… whiskey being a non-water based drink)

The woman and her daughter can illustrate a case of split feelings pertaining to entertaining ideas that do not reflect your usual way of thinking. From the perspective of a less mature or wise emotional aspect of yourself (the daughter) you would reprimand yourself for being willing to be accepting of thinking as would “white trash”. From a more mature and wise emotional aspect of yourself,(her mother) you could see a need to be more charitable, i.e. more tolerant in judging others. However you do realize that you need to get back to a state of mind in which you can feel more comfortable and “at home”, but without getting caught up in the arguments regarding Islamic militants. (without being caught in cross fire)
[What this dream, I believe, is trying to show you, is that you are projecting in your mind an image of what you can foresee happening in future, (Islamics bringing their fighting to the USA). When everyone starts projecting the same image or concern, their collective thoughts help to manifest the image. The dream is suggesting to get your mind off this matter because your thinking about it is not helping to keep America safe.]

You're right in that thinking about the worst possible scenario happening isn't going to help. I also agree that on a collective unconscious level, that fear of the other in this country (the United States) only adds fuel to the fire (or civil unrest).
Looking back on it, I feel that the Islamic terrorists may be 1) a substitute for a civil war or conflict involving right wing extremists but not necessarily Muslims and 2) being bombarded with news about ISIL, the Islamic extremists in Iraq, worming its way into my subconscious dreaming mind.
